I had previously written a very negative review because I wasted a lot of time trying to sign up. I kept waiting for the verification code which never arrived. Then I tried to sign in on Google, but there was a problem. But later, when I was going to uninstall the app and start over, there I was, all signed up. I did not know at first which account worked but it worked. The instructions were easy for the most part, but I recall somewhere during the process that some instruction didn’t match what was actually on my app and it took a long time to upgrade the firm ware. But once up and running, it takes nice videos. It turns out that all the emails with the code were in my spam box., which I did not check, so my fault. And when I sent my angry email to them, their response was also in spam. So the good is that they did send the code and they responded very quickly to my email. But I still gave this a 4 because although I am happy, clearly the sign up went without my sending the code and some of their instructions online were unclear, making references to things that were not included in the instructions or my app.So, check your spam when trying to sign up. In spite of some flaws in the instructions, as for set up it was easy. (The difficulties I had with the instructions were on how to add friends or family who could also access the video, not in the set-up.)The videos are great, the response to my angry emails was quick.Maybe I would give it a 4.5 if it existed.

After researching on the best product to buy, I mistakenly decided on this one. I ended up purchasing a total of four cameras, currently, I can only use two of them. Even though I Invested a lot of money and buying these cameras, I still need to pay for a subscription to have a video log and no I do not want to buy subscription service to receive “free online vet care” from a security camera. I originally only set up two cameras which I couldn’t use for the longest time because I couldn’t figure out why one of my cameras was upside down even after I physically flipped the camera, And also experienced an issue with two of the cameras, consistently being off-line, even though they were up-to-date and on the same network. I decided to also buy the treat camera, which cats broke within a day. They knocked it over, the camera cracked, and the camera was on the floor the whole time. What would be a cool feature if the app wasn’t so laggy would be the fact that if you swipe a certain distance, it will propel treats , One swipe will send a treat along distance . However, the app lags and will end up sending a treat rocket at your poor pet’s face and body. Poor durability and not built with the pets safety in mind. The app itself isn’t even built to have a sustained large network of cameras on one app, It’s almost like it is telling you” Don’t buy the camera it’s not worth it!” As you can see, the quality is poor and upside down, you’re basically playing “A where is Waldo Game” with 100 pixels.

I would absolutely not suggest this camera or this company. We’ve had 3 separate times were we’ve heard a ding (the noise it makes when you actively look at the camera from the app) when neither me or my husband are on it. (We’re the only ones with access.) On top of that, the activity log showed a current session from an IPhone that we don’t own, from a town 200+ miles away from where we live. We tried contacting the company about it, and they’ve denied that it could be hacked and blamed it on our internet provider. I really wanted to like this product for the price point, but I would seriously encourage you to look elsewhere. We have a newborn at home, and the thought of some sick person watching her and selling infant pictures is gut wrenching. We will not be supporting this company anymore.

Great camera but requires paid subscription for recording and/or storing recordings.
