Poor quality
Poor quality and workmanship, broke in 5 months of use, the charging port won’t connect with charging cable, and the customer support emails you back suggesting to turn the power on by connecting with charging cable… and try clicking on the sync button. 😡😡😡😡😡 don’t buy this product, it was $200 down the drainBattery life was goodNight vision goodSound quality goodPicture quality goodBad durability and connection with power source

Easy to install
Great device that is easy to install and use.Arrived quickly and was a dream to set up. Highly recommend this device if you are concerned about ease of use. Works great with their other devices as well. The quality of the video is phenomenal, night vision is fantastic and the battery life is great!

Good resolution baby monitor
Overall it is a good baby monitor, including the night view, with good resolution. It is not 5 stars because of 2 issues:- clock is always off, no matter how many times you adjust it. It keeps being delayed so not reliable to check what time your baby went to bed or woke up, which is an inconvenience.- camera makes noise when switching from day to night view, which does bother my baby and momentarily wakes her at the beginning of her nap as she is still in a light sleep.

Only lasted one year!
The baby monitor was good while it lasted. It stopped working exactly a year after I started using it.

DO NOT BUY
I never write reviews but if you are going to read one please let it be mine!!! Bought this monitor for our first baby, paid $225. After 4 months the monitor won’t hold a charge without being plugged in. Warranty is only 3 months. So I bought another one and thought mine was a one off, nope. Same problem. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Horrible company, horrible customer service, horrible product!!!!

I read a few mixed reviews but we are very very happy with this one. I’ve tried 3-4 others (qubo, babysense etc) but this is the best one. In India I have seen the pricing of these vary a lot. I got mine for under 12K and now it’s listed for 26K or so. If you find it under 15K go for it blindly.

I never realized that baby monitors were so out of date with current technology until i had my own child and started looking into these… All those motorola ones and the infant optics, its all crap and looks like the same model of technology we used in 2002. Just terrible. Then i ran across the Eufy and it was only a few months into the market when i found it about a year ago and it is the best monitor available, hands-down! Granted i never looked into the wifi enabled baby monitors but i didnt care to and chance some weirdo hacking my system or have to worry about finding a decent wifi connection at friends houses we traveled to, hotels, etc.I’m a big advocate of doing my due-diligence and reading reviews prior to purchasing stuff, and i must say that was the key selling point for me & getting the Eufy SpaceView over others. 97% of the reviews about customer service were exceptional and i experienced that first hand myself! After almost 1 year of having the monitor the disply screen battery wasnt holding a charge and always had to be plugged in; i emailed Eufy Customer Service and they responded back within 2 hrs asking for some more details like shipping information, serial # and receipt. I sent that over and within 48hrs they had already shipped me a brand new device & camera at no additional cost without question!! Now THAT is customer service and i genuinely appreciate that!! Customer Service is actually the reason i went from a 4.7 to 5 star rating. So i wanted to leave some truly honest breakdowns in this review I hope you will find useful:1) The picture quality can obviously always be better, i mean we are used to looking at retina-display laptops and 4K 70+” TVs so relax people… Don’t know about 720 resolution all the time as described, but night vision mode is great and this picture is much better than the other monitors so don’t try to compare (because i already did with MANY friends and cousins and it didnt work out for them; they actually ended up buying the Eufy as either their primary or travel monitor because of it!)2) I can personally vouch for the range on this bad boy; we go to my in-laws lake house all the time and I KNOW it travels more than 450ft in open air for sure!! Hell, it takes me 15 minutes to walk back up to the house from the dock just to get to his room so the range is not an issue IN OPEN AIR. However, i will get some dropouts in our bedroom and on our back porch at home but even bluetooth will drop on the other side of our plaster walls from this old house so its not surprising. It will drop for a 1/2 second and reconnect so its not an issue.3) Range of motion in the camera is exactly as they describe, its great and doesnt make any loud noises or anything to wake your baby (not like they can hear anything past the obnoxious blaring white noise machine anyway) :)I have not tried the additional wide angle lens yet as i have not had the need to; maybe when he is a toddler but cant comment on that so far.4) Battery life is great; pretty sure it doesnt go to 15hrs like advertised all the time, but i also have my screen brightness on the highest level majority of the time and the visual picture is always up. I prob should try to turn the visual screen off and use just the audio, but then i’d have to listen to that damn white noise again so i choose the latter.5) Tried the alerts when we first got it and he was weeks old, but didnt really care for it as i found myself constantly checking it anyway and just watching him (i know, weird new dad overwhelming joy) so never found the need for that either., Nor the built in 5 lullaby’s you can play through the camera. I did however try the 2-way voice control and it works, but that is limited to like 30ft or something. Once again, don’t use that feature enough to comment on it and i may when he becomes a little older, but not as of right now.6) Zoom feature is nice and works fine; nothing extravagant about that. That’s pretty much all i have right now and sorry about my rant; too much coffee this AM!Anyway, for the price point, quality of products and customer service that comes with it, 100% this product cannot be beat as of today!!Enjoy and keep up the good work, Eufy Customer Support Team!!

The Bluetooth connection worked once only for a few minutes. After that, Despite repeated attempts, the connection was not established between the camera and the monitor even after placing them within few meters of each other! Very poor product quality!

Update 1/9/2020Sorry I’ve gone back and forth but I’m done-it stopped working again and now my son relies on the music to help him sleep. It disconnected and no matter what cords we use or outlet we use, the monitor won’t connect to the camera. One star-great customer service but I shouldn’t have to deal with this.Update 1/2/2020Eufy has amazing customer service. They saw my review and urged me to try some new cables which they sent me free of charge. I was hesitant because I didn’t want the problem to occur later on, but since they had been so good to me, I decided to give the new cables a shot. I’ve been using the new cables for 2 months and the camera has not failed yet! I’m bumping my review back up to three stars. Further, for the trouble, eufy refunded me half of the price of the monitor. All in all, for my troubles with this product over the past year, they’ve sent me three new systems, a new set of cables, refunded half the price of what I paid, a Bluetooth speaker for my troubles, and a charging pad for my phone. I didn’t ask to be compensated for any of this-they just offered without hesitation. So their customer service is awesome-always willing to help and take suggestions for improving the device. The monitor, when it works, is better than any other on the market. I’ve tried several others and they are all cheap-the music on them sucks and sounds horrible out of the speakers, the screen is small, and it’s a pain to mount some of the cameras. Plus-you can’t apply software updates to the other ones I’ve tried. However, I don’t think I should have to be the guinea pig for a product commercially available. There should be no need to send out three versions of a product. That makes it seem like there are some quality control issues. So buy this product and know you’ll get great customer service, but you might have to use that customer service because there could be issues with the monitor.Update: 11/17/19I can no longer endorse this product. While there have been bugs and the company has been extremely helpful in fixing these bugs, there are just too many for this product to be available to the public-this past week was the final straw. It seems there is a problem with where the USB cable connects to both the power plug and the monitor/camera itself. I went to bed, thinking the monitor was charging, and woke up to a dead monitor and my baby screaming in the other room. I figured it was user error at first, even though I’ve used this monitor for almost a year, so I tried it again the next day. With the monitor, when I wiggle the usb cord and the power plug, it loses power randomly. There’s some faulty connection there. I can’t have this, not with my baby in the other room and my reliance on this product working.Similarly, there’s a weak connection with the camera. I traveled with this monitor two weeks ago and had to set it up at my parents house and on three occasions, the camera lost connectivity and the only solution was to wiggle the power cord until it got power back to it.I’ll be buying something else and will reduce this to one star. There simply needs to be more testing done on this product.Update: 8/31/19The Eufy monitor continues to be really great and the customer support is amazing. However, the battery life has severely dropped over the last few weeks. We’ve had this for roughly 8-9 months and now we have to plug it in during the day when he is sleeping or else the battery will quickly die out. I think what hurts the battery life is when our son is trying to go to sleep, we have the video on for however long that takes with the music play, and so sometimes the video will be on with the music for up to 30 minutes at times. He takes 1-2 naps a day now at 10 months old and so the video/music may play for an hour a day and the battery just isn’t up to the task for that. It’s a shame because we love everything about the monitor, but it’s a pain to keep the charger cable and the monitor plugged in wherever we go. It’s not a issue at night because we plug it in, but if we’re downstairs doing laundry or watching tv, it’s a pain to run up and grab the charger. I wish the battery was replaceable in these. Still 5 stars because it’s a great product, but the battery definitely hurts.Update: 5/13/19Eufy customer service e-mailed me yesterday to inform me of a software update which gives the option of turning the video screen ON when a certain audio level is reached (you can selected the noise level on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the loudest) WITHOUT emitting an alarm. This is something that has been asked for by the community for quite some time. In the past, you could only turn the screen on with a VERY loud alarm which was annoying when we were sleeping. So this update is huge. While I wish they would come out with a better way to get these updates out to the community (right now they just send me an e-mail through Amazon customer service informing me of the update…so if any user hasn’t emailed them to inquire about their product, they are kinda stuck with it), this monitor now has everything I need in a baby monitor. Yes, the kickstand isn’t as robust as some other products, but I don’t mind it. I’m updating this review to 5 stars. I wouldn’t consider buying anything else.Update: 4/21/19Eufy Customer service has been great. They immediately e-mailed me instructions on how to update the firmware and that helped the temperature a bit, but it was still about 3 degrees higher than what the ambient temperature in the room was. I e-mailed them again and their engineers went and sent another update to me. Life has gotten in the way recently with a newborn, but I finally downloaded the new firmware today and the temperature is reading EXACTLY what it should be with ZERO issues. For the inconvenience, Eufy also sent me a free bluetooth speaker, which was nice.I’ve updated the review to 4 stars, from it’s original 3 stars. The only reason this product doesn’t have 5 stars are for these two reasons:1) The kickstand sucks. As the wirecutter review noted, it’s too easy for it to fall over. They should update the model with a new stand.2) While customer service is great, they need to come out with a new way to update firmware for their products. Right now, they basically send me an e-mail to search for something like “e7fjCh5fk” in Youtube, and that gives me a link to a how-to video from their engineers on where to download some files and update their firmware. A company as large as this should really invest in a central website people can go to to view these files and download the updated firmware. All in all, I would recommend purchasing this baby monitor-the video quality is second to none.Update: 2/23/19We received the new monitor and it seemed to work great for a day, and then the temperature was back up to 143 degrees for a few minutes before dropping down to 73 degrees. It switches intermittently it seems. I’ve e-mailed the company and hopefully they have a fix.———–Original review:We’ve bought a few monitors to try out and this one has the best picture quality out of anything we have tried. It is clear enough that I can see my baby’s chest rising and falling which is very comforting to us.It was easy to connect out of the box and definitely appears to be the most technologically advanced wireless (non-wifi) monitors we have come across. The setup is a breeze and requires nothing on your partThe main thing I don’t like is the temperature. 90% of the time it says it’s 143 degrees farenheit in my son’s room when it’s only 68-70 degrees. That’s a major problem for me. I’ve requested to return the monitor and get a new one-so hopefully I won’t have the same problem, though there’s a few other reviews stating they have the same problem, so we will see.Another drawback is the alarm function. While there are two volume settings you can enable once the noise exceeds a preset amount, both of them are extremely loud. We had it setup for one night on the low setting and we both startled awake any time it alarmed, so that went off. Instead, we just keep the alarm off and the volume reasonably high so we can hear our baby cry. I wish they made it so instead of an alarm sounding, the screen would just turn on.
