Received this as a baby shower gift, I had it on my registry. I liked that my husband and I could use it on our phones as well as the monitor. It has been set up for a few months and we are constantly having to reset it, it disconnects often, we have the highest speed wifi & live in the city. I reached out to Netvue via the app and neither time was assisted accordingly, I was just told to re connect it and use the wifi enhancer on the monitor which worked for about a day. The monitor battery lasts roughly an hour, so it needs to be plugged in often which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to do things. I unplugged it from the wall and the adaptor piece came off and broke, and the cord doesn’t fit any other charger without the adaptor piece. I would not recommend this monitor unless you want a headache or to constantly wake your baby up to remember to reset it everytime you lay them down.

terrible choice. the peekababy disconnects all the time. finicky, poor connection. The app is glitchy and doesn’t always work. the portable video player no longer works and will not connect to the camera. I dont care about picture quality, but the sound always has weird feedback white noise.. it does the job, not well. I dont know why it’s Amazon’s choice. I wouldn’t purchase again

Not very good. Some nights it disconnects from my wifi 1-2 times and the monitor starts beeping at me at 3am and wakes my husband and I up… it then reconnects by itself. Super frustrating when you’re so sleep deprived as is. Our WiFi is very good, we live in town and have no issues with anything else. It also sometimes doesn’t connect to my phone camera and I have to refresh it 10 times for it to work. The one time It did disconnect and not reconnect itself was of course when I just set my son down to sleep for the night so I had to scramble and figure out how to reconnect it.. it then beeps extremely loud in the room to reconnect which woke my newborn up and had to start all over again

Might be good for birds but not babies
We received this as a gift so we can’t return it but this is not a good monitor for babies. It disconnects frequently, takes hours for it to fully charge and dies within an hour once unplugged. Additionally, this is only compatible with the usbc cord and plug they provide and the cord is maybe 15 inches long making it difficult to bring the screen in other rooms, you can only zoom in on the app, and when the sun starts to set, the lighting starts flickering on the screen looking like the poltergeist.

Instant feedback noise when watching camera – not good
For an expensive baby monitor, it should be better quality. There was always a feedback noise when watching my baby. Very loud. I couldn’t have it on all the time overnight because the feedback noise was always there. Therefore the camera was useless.They sent me a new camera and it did the same thing. The second rep I spoke to from netvu said the feedback noise wouldn’t go away, that it was just the way the camera was. No idea how anyone could listen to that all night.I will give their customer service credit , they were easy to deal with and refunded me easily.

La imagen se ve muy bien y con mucha calidad, tengo varias cámaras de la misma marca y funcionan de maravilla, la aplicación es rápida y fácil de usar con alertas de movimiento instantaneas que puedes ver en tu teléfono movil, la configuración también es muy sencilla escaneando el código qr se enlaza con facilidad. 100% recomendable

Wir haben die NetVue Orb Pro jetzt seit ein paar Wochen im Einsatz und sind super zufrieden. Zuvor hat die NetVue Orb Cam Ihre Dienste solide geleistet und haben somit auch einen guten Vergleich. Wir nutzten die alte Kamera und jetzt auch die neue als Babyphone in Verbindung mit einem iPad. Vor Allem wenn wir eine Etage weiter unten sind, ist das sehr praktisch.Die Orb Pro kam schnell und gut verpackt an. Die Einrichtung ging sehr einfach von der Hand. Einfach App runter laden, den Einrichtungsassistenten starten und das wars schon. Die Kamera lässt sich auch mit einer Speicherkarte ausstatten, sodass Aufzeichnungen möglich sind und diese später wiedergegeben werden können wenn es erwünscht ist.Im Vergleich zur Orb Cam, hat sich einiges an der Bildqualität geändert. Das Bild ist wesentlich schärfer und klarer geworden. Auch hat sich der Weitwinkel vergrößert, sodass mehr Fläche abgedeckt werden kann. Der Nachtsichtmodus aktiviert sich bei Dunkelheit automatisch. Besonders hier haben wir den Unterschied zum „Vorgänger“ gemerkt. Der Nachtsichtmodus war da schon gut, aber kein Vergleich zur Orb Pro. Zudem gab es bei der Orb Cam immer so ein „Klick“ Geräusch, wenn sich die Nachtsicht aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert hat. Bei der Orb Pro ist das nicht mehr der Fall.Die Kamera lässt sich über die App 360 Grad drehen und das super leise. Über das eingebaute Mikrofon lässt sich alles gut verstehen. Allerdings vernehmen wir immer so ein kleines Eigenrauschen, was wie ein Wasserfall klingt, wenn gerade eigentlich alles still sein sollte. Es ist dennoch wesentlich angenehmer, als das brummende Geräusch vom Vorgänger. Wenn auch könnte es ein wenig leiser sein. Über einen Lautsprecher verfügt die Kamera auch, sodass es auch möglich ist in die andere Richtung zu sprechen.Rundum sind wir mit der Orb Pro sehr zufrieden und können sie guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Netvue ottimo marchio, terza telecamera di sorveglianza acquistata, due da interno ed una da esterno. L’app è intuitiva e mi permette di visualizzare tutte le 3 telecamere installate. Installazione veloce, dopo aver scaricato l’app si clicca sul + per aggiungere la telecamera e con la procedura guidata, in circa un minuto il gioco è fatto. Buono il funzionamento per il rilevamento dei movimenti con possibilità di scegliere solo determinate aree e nessun falso allarme dovuto ai cambiamenti di luce.Attualmente l’utilizzo per monitorare il mio cane e per la sicurezza domestica. Segnala con notifica immediata, nell’app è possibile vedere foto (o video se inserite scheda SD) ed impostare i tempi di allarme.Qualità dell’immagine ottimale, buona definizione sia con luce che senza. La rotazione si comanda facilmente nell’app, bisogna premere velocemente (e non tenere premuto) per farla ruotare.Audio bidirezionale, buon livello di volume (regolabile).Arriva con alimentatore e cavo (classico usb micro), viti e supporti per fissarla al muro. Altrimenti basta appoggiarla su un piano.Il prodotto al tatto è consistente e di buona fattura, più stabile e pesante rispetto all’orb mini dello stesso marchio.Il punto forte rimane l’app, che rispetto ad altri marchi è ben funzionante, intuitiva e utilizzabile con molte funzioni senza dover pagare abbonamenti.Le funzionalità aggiuntive a pagamento sono diverse, le più interessanti sono: registrazione nel cloud, motion detection regolabile rilevamento umano, cane, gatto, uccello…. per evitare possibili falsi allarmi non desiderati.Non ho potuto testare l’integrazione con monitor Alexa.
