    great product. recommend!
Easy to use. Cleans easy. No regrets. Love this crockpot. Cooks quicker than any other crockpot I have had. 4 breasts of chicken easily cooked within 3hrs. One hour on medium and 2 hrs. on Low. Love this !!!!!! Takes up small amt. of room on counter. Matches my stainless appliances. Bonus.

Best slow cooker ever- Way better than the heavy old crockpots!
I’ve bought a few for gifts, as this one was also, and I own one myself.. Worth the money- big time!!! It’s not heavy and awkward like huge crockpots are, it’s so lightweight that if you drop it, the worst that will happen is a chip in the enamel perhaps or tiny dent, not a huge shattered ceramic/clay pot all shattered all over the floor or breaking your toes if they happen to be in the way- ouch! Cleanup a snap with the non stick interior.Great for anyone with limited hand strength/arthritic issues. The shape makes it easy to slide on a fridge shelf taking up way less space than an old crock put. Plenty of room inside and they even come a bit larger if you want a roomier one. I can’t say enough positive things about it, and they seem to last forever. What more can I say!

Stay away. Finish peeled with less than 10 uses
We have used this product less than 10 times. Unfortunately the finish has peeled and started bubbling. The unit also clicks very loud when on warm so is annoying. Product looked nice and transports well when bringing a dish to a party but with finish peeling it’s just not worth the risk.

    Makes clicking noise
Works great, clean up easyBUT, it make a loud clicking sound, very annoying

  5. Rod Stewart

    Works very well, good value.
We had a problem with the first one; the teflon liner quickly started flaking and coming off. the replacement is better.

    Slow cooker
Given as a gift , they love the size and convenience of it!

  7. Natalie & Kevin Richardson

    Good
Excellent, do exactly what it’s designed for. Makes a ticking sound when heating but works fine

  8. Janet Donnelly

Very good slow cooker. Easy to use
Easy to use and clean up. Does not take up much counter space. It is deceptive in size but cooked enough beef stew for 5 meals.

We purchased this in May 2023 as our nearly 30 year old West Bend slow cooker suddenly stopped working. We wanted another West Bend since our previous cooker was great, reliable and dependable. What a difference 30 years makes! LOLThis has a very nice design and you can remove the pot and use it on the stove top. We always brown our meat before starting the slow cooking process so being able to remove the pot is very useful and convenient. We have used this six times so far and it works great! It is a wonderful look and excellent capacity for your slow cooker meals. The largest amount of meat we’ve put in has been just over 4 pounds and there was plenty of room for liquid/broth, vegetables and more ingredients. This has been a fantastic replacement slow cooker. It is easy to clean and use. Very reliable thus far.The only caveat I would add is it is a slow cooker, not a hurry up cooker. The one time we used it on high we overcooked the beef and it was a little tough. We’ve learned our lesson and use lower settings for a longer period of time and everything has been simply delicious.I don’t have a use for the griddle as I have a 22″ griddle so I can’t comment to the quality of that.

I absolutely love this crockpot! It did click a bit in the begging, but the more I use it the only time I hear the clicking is when I change the temperature, which I find is normal. It cooks everything evenly.

We had a slow cooker which, after several years of service, reached the end of its life.It was a West Bend as well.We bought this in January 2024.Out of the box, everything seemed great. My wife likes to use a slow cooker when she makes soup, peas and such.Foods that have a lot of liquids. In a month, she probably uses it three times, at most.So we’re talking about less than 24 uses total for this appliance. After the first month, the non stick coating began to bubble.Keep in mind, soups, peas and such. The hottest the inside bottom of this pan, or whatever you call it, COULD get, is 212°F (100°C.)Why is the coating bubbling? It really shouldn’t be.Maybe it’s the thermal difference between the heating portion, across the 3mm (maybe 3, could be less) thickness of the pan?Today, she made some soup.I did the dishes tonight. It was literally one coffee mug, two soup bowls, and a bit of silverware.I didn’t soak anything. I just washed them. The “pan” was the last thing I washed. As I am rinsing it out, the edge of the pan cut my thumb. My hands hadn’t spent any time in dishwater to soften the skin, making them easier to be cut. When I say “cut,” I’m not talking about a cut that gushes blood. It’s very similar to a paper cut.To be fair, if something happens to have the potential to cut, it finds me. It’s just been that way my whole life.My parents went to plastic cups and Correll plates and bowls because they got tired of having to take me to the ER for stitches. When I was in college, I worked restaurant. My nickname was “Mr. Ginsu,” because I had to get stitches so very many times at that job.Anyhow, the bottom line is, I definitely would not recommend buying this appliance.

This is the 3rd one that I’ve had. I received the first one as a gift back in the 80’s. It actually still worked, but I started using it to melt beeswax, which really doesn’t clean up well. I bought the second one in 2012 and used it several times a week, often using it to make bone broth, which has to simmer on low for 3-5 days. It is so easy to use and easier to lift, move, and clean because the pot is so light. I just got a new one because the Teflon is scratched and starting to wear off. I still plan to use that one when I need the extra cooking space and will use a slow cooker bag in it. The new one is just slightly wider and more square, which is actually easier to use and clean. It’s great for pot roasts, roasting whole small chickens, soups, and easy one-pot meals like chili, coq au vin, lasagna, etc. I can put everything in the pot in the morning and have a great dinner later that day. The only thing I would change is to have an actual shut-off switch instead of unplugging to turn it off.

I LOVE the cooker – one of the very best made! I’ve waited to complete my review because I had a problem with the finish flaking off. I filed a warranty claim (that required lots of pictures, proofs, etc.) and was sent an inferior (and different sized) replacement TWICE. The company finally offered to replace the entire unit, but only after i sent evidence that I’d cut the cord on the original. I did refuse, because I was very concerned that I’d again receive a lesser quality unit than I’d purchased. We went back and forth on this several times – today i FINALLY received the correct replacement. It was worth the wait. It took a lot of effort but I am again a happy West Bend custormer. (I have been a loyal West Bend buyer for years so was really disappointed in this experience, but am very happy to report that they did take care of me in the end.) I HIGHLY recommend the cooker which is why I worked so hard to be able to get the right one.
