Excellent Customer Service
We love this monitor – It’s really simple to setup, no wifi or apps. The video and audio quality is good, even the night vision is decent. On these hot summer days, I like that it tells the temperature. It’s pretty inexpensive compared to similar products on the market.There was an issue with our charging cord and we reached out to Vtimes directly. They responded immediately and replaced the entire unit! I was really impressed with the quality of customer service, 10/10.

Pros-It’s not overly expensiveIt works…just not great. It’s like an outdated piece of tech, it’ll do the job but with the bare minimum requirements.The audio portion works well.Daytime vision works well.Cons-Almost 2 months of use and the battery on the receiver dies frequently. It’s now charged nightly and still doesn’t last a full day.Night and daytime vision glitch back and forth which impacts the picture greatly.It’s super bright at night even with the screen brightness all the way dimmed.The eco mode is kind of crappy, it’s delayed to pick up/ turn on.Editing to add that after speaking to customer support (whom were wonderful) they have sent a replacement. I can only assume I got a faulty device after speaking to the service rep. They were so prompt to address the issue and rectify it. I’ve previously owned an older model in 2020 and it worked well so as I said I think it may have been faulty or they wouldn’t stand behind their products so willingly.

Lasted less than 20 uses.
I only used it less than 20 times and it can no longer be charged. I tried each adapter cord and others as well. I noticed if the adapter was plugged into the monitor in a certain position and you hold it with all your strength it could connect, but once you let go it doesn’t charge again, then even that didn’t work. Pretty useless if you can’t charge the device.

Easy set up, reliable company
Great monitor, fast and easy set up! Literally just plug on and ready to go. Video is in colour for daytime and black and white at night. As it’s small and compact and easy to set up we can even take it with us when we travel. Wifi free gives us peace of mind for security as well.There are safety alerts for battery low for monitor that can be turned off.Customer service was fast and easily resolved an issue I had with charging the monitor for free.

This monitor is good, works fine. It does everything you need and is easy to use/set up. Occasionally needed to reconnect to camera (does so very quickly- not a huge concern).First night using monitor- screen is fully charged. Unplugged from charger at 9:30pm, woken to awful, obnoxious beeping noise at 5:00am (battery is nearly dead).This monitor screen will need to be plugged in for us overnight- which is fine but I feel a 8-9 hour battery life should be mentioned!*Review from first time Mom.*Review made at 5:30am, first night after 5month old slept in crib for the first time!

Safety and privacy!
It lacks saving video with a microsd but its use is only to keep you aware of when your baby wakes up and not a security video recorder! It only streams real time video and as soon as you hear a little noise, take a look to check if they are really awake and go or talk to them through it! Its not wifi so if you are worried about how data is used online then go for it, its like a video talkie walkie or facetime 🙂

We got this for our newborn, and while I thought the camera looked like a little higher quality than it was in real life, the whole system works as advertised. For the price, this is a good buy as it works to monitor the baby and make it so we know when they wake up. It has a VOX setting that turns off the screen and sound so that you can sleep with it at night; while I like the feature, it doesn’t work real well with having a white noise machine because the white noise keeps it on at the first two levels, and on the highest level it turns on and off too much. The monitor part is nice, it has a good battery life and you can take it around the house with you as needed. Overall, because it was as cheap as it is, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap baby monitor.

(I initially gave this a 1 star and probably still would for the sole reason that it stopped charging. But I’m changing my rating to 5 because of the exceptional customer service. See review update).This is the second unit I have had. The first one stopped charging and was still in the refund window. This one did last longer but now 3.5 months later, my second unit is now not taking a charge. I guess you get what you pay for.UPDATE 6/29/24: seller/manufacturer reached out and offered to replace the unit with an upgrade. (I was not asked to update this review. I’m doing it on my own to share their customer service has been great!). The new unit has a bigger screen and a few more features than the smaller one. So far I like it and it’s working well. I especially like the two way talk feature and the larger screen as wellAs the cameras ability to see more of the room and view both my kids that sleep in this room. I’ll update again after using it for a while, but my initial review is that the quality seems higher compared to the other model.

Just what I needed, I can see and hear my baby from the other room. Camera is OK but I wasn’t expecting to be the best , but it’s great quality for the money you pay. Night vision, temp display on screen and it’s wireless with a great battery life!
