We are so happy with the VTimes 5’’ Screen Video Baby Monitor! The large screen is super clear, and the camera quality is excellent, even in low-light conditions thanks to the infrared night vision. The remote pan-tilt-zoom feature allows us to keep an eye on our baby from any angle, which has been incredibly convenient.I also love the VOX mode, which only activates the screen when it detects sound – no more constant screen monitoring! Switching to this non-WiFi baby monitor was the best decision! I previously used a monitor that relied on an app and WiFi, but it was unreliable and frustrating. Great picture quality
This product is awesome, we have another model from this company and it works great too. Very easy to install and set up, picture quality is perfect. I gave it 4 stars because the sound doesn’t always work on the camera (not the monitor) I can hear my littles but they sometimes can’t hear my response. That’s not a big issue for us though. Great value for the cost, works better than other well known brands that we’ve had.

Great monitor
I have tried a few brands of baby monitor and this one has actually surpassed all of them. I’ve only had it for 5 months so I can’t comment on the life span, however, the features on this are great. The camera is really good. It picks up noises very well. I also really love that you can tilt the camera with the monitor.Great product!

The screen in colour is clear but in black and white it’s quite fuzzy. We can’t use the lullaby settings because my toddler says it’s too loud and there’s no way to control the music settings in his room. The battery does last. I was going to return it but we threw out the box 🙁 it works but there are better monitors out there.

Got this for my sister to keep and eye on her little one at night because she was using one from like 15 years ago. She actually loves this thing so much. She likes that the camera can move all around so she can look anywhere in the room from where it’s setup. The video quality is really good and clear as well as the sound. She can hear my nephew through the speaker if he wakes up, and it picks up the slightest noise. He can hear her through the microphone really clearly and knows that it’s her talking to him. The visual sound indicator also works really well and will go off to let you know the intensity of the noise it picks up. Mounting the camera was really simple and only took a few minutes. The only issue that she has had with the system so far is that the monitor part of it tends to need to be charged every day, and she maybe only uses it for a few hours until she goes to bed. I hope that the battery doesn’t eventually completely go and then she’ll have to leave it plugged in all the time because that’s what she had to do with her old one and the whole reason I got her this. Other than the battery everything else is amazing and she likes this setup way better than her old one.

I ordered the 5″ model. I own smart security cameras outside of my home. I needed a new camera for isnide because my daughter just had a baby. Although smart cameras are convenient, they are vulnerable to online attacks. I didn’t want strangers looking into my home. I wanted a basic camera that you didn’t need to connect to wifi. The main features we wanted were a swivel camera, wireless video monitor, and audio. This does that and much more. The monitor is great and rechargeable. We are able to keep an eye on the baby from anywhere in the house or the backyard. I like that you can tilt, pan, and zoom right from the monitor screen. It has big, easy to use buttons. I like that you can hear when the baby is crying right through the monitor. You can also talk to another person back and forth from the camera and the monitor. This may not be necessary for an infant, but if you have another child or adult in the room, you can talk to them. The temperature display was not a feature that we needed, but it’s great to have. It allows you to know your baby is comfortable. It’s also nice if you have other children. If another child opens a window in the winter or if a fire starts, you will notice the temperature change and realize something is wrong. There is a feeding reminder feature. We didn’t need this feature either, but it is nice to have for a busy or tired mom. The picture looks great even at night. We really like this kit. The battery life is great. We never let it fully die. She puts it on the charger at night on her bedside table.

I got this VTimes Baby Cam and Monitor on time and well packaged. My Wife and I do not have children but my Wifes’ 80 yr old Mother and Father live next door and they do not have a security camera system due to fear of internet hacking. The great thing about this VTimes Baby Camera and Monitor is that you do not connect it to your internet, it creates its own 2.5Ghz signal for the monitor to connect to the camera. The signal range on this thing is insane too,I was able to stand roughly 3 walls deep in my garage with the camera at the furthest distance in my house and still the monitor was able to view live video feed and control the camera, and hear any distinguishable noise in the room where the camera was placed. I could probably have the camera 2 houses down the street and still pick up signal on the monitor from my house. The features this camera has is also fantastic: Noise wakeup, room temperature alert, movement wakeup, ability to speak through the camera, about 6+ different lullaby songs you can make it play, you control the camera gimbal from the monitor, you can zoom in / out, and the image resolution is very good. Now, I can put the camera on my In-Laws front gated porch and they can have the monitor inside and can see exactly who is at the gate ringing the doorbell and they can speak to that person without having to open the door and if that person gets beligerant or irrate, they can have the camera play a nice lullaby to help calm that person down and then tell them to have a nice day. Seriously, this VTimes Baby Camera and Monitor is a Fantastic buy at this price, it works great. The monitor does have an onboard rechargeable battery that last a good long time but the Camera does have to be plugged in to an electrical outlet to work. If you need a good quality camera with a gimbal and pan features and monitor that doesn’t hook up to the internet this is the one you should seriously consider buying. I can think of many scenarios to use this.

Wow, we got this monitor to take with us on holiday and I may switch this to our main monitor at home! The screen is HUGE and crystal clear! So easy to set up and operate. What impressed me the most was that the battery on the monitor screen lasted all night without charging and it still had so much charge left when we woke up!! If you turn the screen on at night and the volume down i like that the monitor has this little light bar (green, orange, red) so you can tell without necessarily hearing that the volume of the cry is loud and you should go check! A great visual! Easy to move and tilt the camera using the screen and great visibility in the dark! Honestly, this one is wonderful and we’ve been through a few monitors, rented some others on vacation and this one is it!

I have to admit, we are not using this for a baby, so we don’t need to use the lullaby feature and I’m not too worried about the temperature. We needed this because we have a family member that does home dialysis and needs to be monitored at all times, while connected. So in case someone needs to leave the room they are in, we can still keep an eye on them and communicate.I didn’t want to spend the money on regular cameras, as I’m not really comfortable in having cameras in my bedroom connected to the internet. I thought this was an excellent solution and thus far, it’s been perfect for us. We have only used them a couple days but I loved being able to feel comfortable going downstairs and still have eyes on my partner while he was hooked up to his machine.The camera was simple to set up. The picture is clear and the sound is clear. I have my bedroom door closed and walk all the way downstairs with zero connectivity issues. There are lots of other settings that are relevant for babies but I didn’t look at those. I really like that this camera doesn’t need WiFi. I don’t need to worry about someone connecting to my camera when I don’t want them to.I’m very pleased so far and definitely look forward to long term use of this product.
