Works as advertised
Really easy to setup. Mounted under a table top from ikea. I had a friend who purchased a raising table for 500 plus dollars and was shocked at my setup. Moves up and down flawlessly and very quiet. Highly recommended.

Very happy. It’s been a week and it works well. I had a desk already and just added the base under so that I can raise it but keep the shelves etc.Goes up/down quickly, noise is minimal, stable even fully raised

Works decent BUT
Everyone seems to be complaining about the button not being responsive to elevating the desk. Unless you are extremely impatient this really is not a problem – the button is fine for raising the desk and gets the job done.Ive been using this for a month now. While its great – the desk stand unfortunately tends to slowly lower back down once its raised. Its annoying but not the end of the world. I end up reraising the height every 20 mins or so to adjust. As far as I know I should have less than the limit (176 lbs) on my desk. Its still great and am enjoying the desk for its price. Will update if the lowering issue gets worse.Update: lowering got worse. I have maybe less than 100 pounds and its rated for 176. Lowered to one star what a waste of time and money

Despite the great reviews, I was a bit skeptical about the quality of a $180 sit/stand desk frame. I was shocked to pick up the box on my front porch and it was VERY heavy, indicating it is probably better quality that I imagined.Assembly:Pretty straight forward for anyone who has assembled shipped furniture before. You build it from the bottom up. Feet attach to the legs, legs connect at the cross bar, desk supports attach to the legs, and desk attaches to the supports. I already had a 29″x59″ LINNMON top from Ikea, which is hollow core so I marked where the desk should be, marked where the screw holes are on the desk supports, and installed hollow door anchors where I would attach the desk for extra stability. A couple of the screws that take the hex wrenches are a bit soft so I ended up stripping a couple of them on the final turn into the part. Not going to be fun to take those apart if I ever have to but hopefully that isn’t for awhile. That is my only negative experience I had with assemblyQuality:All metal exterior parts which are very heavy and sturdy individually. There are more expensive versions of this frame, which VIVO support indicated to me is due to the quality of the internals on the motor itself (plastic on this model vs metal on others). I’m not lifting an extreme amount of weight so I went with the cheap option. The single motor is more than enough to lift the large Ikea hollow desk, two laptops, and two 27″ monitors with a metal arm mount (also VIVO, very happy with it as well). When seated, i have my desk at about 30″ from the floor. It is sitting on medium pile carpet and there is absolutely no sway at the seated height. When raised to a standing position, it is about 46″. There is maybe a half inch of left-to-right sway and about the same forward/backward. The forward and backward sway could be due to mine sitting on carpet where the legs are just swaying on the soft surface but it is enough sway that it shakes my monitors if move the desk too much. The side to side sway is pretty much par for the course with any sit/stand I’ve used.Overall Pros: * Very solid build quality. The pieces are a heavy-duty solid metal * Speed and strength of the single motor is plenty for a 60″ desk with two laptops and two large monitors. * Directions are easy as can be. * Looks very nice. Sharp lines, modern desk feet, jet black colorOverall cons: * The slight sway of the desk at its highest can be a bit annoying. It’s slightly more than what I’ve experienced with more expense desks. Could also be due to mine being on carpet * Quality of some of the machine screws and bolts were a bit soft causing me to strip them * The two trays they include for cable management are very small and leave little clearance between the tray and the desk. If you’re like me with 20 some cables running around, you’ll need a more robust solutionReally unbelievable value for what you are getting here. Especially if you’ve already got a desktop sitting at home that would be compatible, it is a no brainer purchase. At my office we have Herman Miller sit/stand desks that are about the same width as what I’ve done here and I can only tell there is a slight dip in quality. Certainly not a $1400 dip in quality which is about the price difference there. Highly, highly recommend this. Only regret is that I didn’t buy this when I started working from home 11 months ago.

I read all the reviews on this adjustable height desk base, and I scoured the internet for the best fit for my application for the price. Prices vary wildly for this kind of a thing. Some are three, four hundred dollars, and just don’t see the advantage of those over this one. This one was just under $200 (with delivery), it arrived impressively quick, it’s solid, well made, and the assembly is pretty simple and easy. It is a bit quirky in that the leg heights were slightly off when my item arrived, but I quickly addressed that with a large hex wrench… I adjusted the following end to same height as the motor end, then tweaked the hex position in the best direction to match up with the drive shaft. That resulted in a nearly perfectly level assembly. This unit is variable in the width of desktop it will accommodate. The span is in the specs, and I was trying to retrofit an IKEA Expedit Desk (the kind with the solid side that attaches to a bookcase) to this base. Knowing IKEA uses that corrugated paper core with fiber board surround, I had to stretch the desk frame to the outer edges of the desktop. It reached, no problem, but the adjustment is kind of quirky, but it gives one infinite adjustment capability to an exact span. It worked perfectly for my application. This desk base also includes the desktop attachment hardware (along with all over hardware), but the screws were a bit short/small for my application. A step up in screw size and length, and I was golden! The end result is SO much better than my low-height original desk. The desk still looks integrated into the Expedit system, but is now adjustable to such better heights. I really like this adjustable desk, now minimal, yet strong it is. I like how it’s engineered, and the price can’t be beat. As a comparison, I have a really high-end motorized adjustable standing desk at my workplace (digital read out, memory options, integrated power tray, the works… I’m guessing that thing wasn’t cheap in the least bit), and I like this desk equally well. It’s smooth in it’s operation, it’s quiet, it’s sturdy, and there is no annoying cross-bar underneath to bang my knees nor feet on. I’m 6’2″ and fit perfectly using this frame. This was a solid purchase! No complaints… just compliments.
