  1. Let Me Say This:

    Excellent sit-stand desk frame.
The desk was a birthday gift for our kid, and he is still happy over the moon. The sit-stand desks are remarkably beneficial for kids who are active and need to change their position often. It’s also an excellent workplace for someone who spends workdays in front of the screens. The metal frame is well made, durable, heavy. My husband assembled it without problemsThe oversized top is from the liquidation corner in Ikea. We’ve got the frame through Amazon Warehouse deals, and the price was fantastic. Here are some benefits of using the sit-stand desk:The ability to change position boosts productivityIt helps to improve mood and attain more energyLower blood sugar levelsReduces risks of weight gain and obesityLower risk of heart diseasesReduces back pain

  2. The Mask

    Extremely rigid and study.
I used these legs to make a ‘live edge’ desk for my wife, and they exceeded both of our expectations. I, for one, was very surprised by the weight and rigidity of the legs. The assembly was fairly straightforward, and attaching the legs to the underside of the desk was easy. In operation, these legs are smooth and virtually silent. My only minor reservation is that I’d have liked the legs to go slightly lower, but the full extension is worth it!

  3. Amazon Customer

Great product, not great assembly instructions.
The legs and frame are solid; being adjustable for width doesn’t impede the sturdiness at all. It’s hard to imagine anyone placing any amount of weight that would cause the frame to buckle even when it’s at maximum height. I’m 6″3 and it goes uncomfortably taller than I would ever want it standing up (like just below my armpits); it’s great that the range is exceptional from its minimal distance to the floor to it’s maximum distance. I use monitor arms on my other desk to get them to a height where I’m forced to sit back in my chair, but with this desk you’d never need it.I only gave this four stars because there is room for improvement:1) Include clearer assembly instructions OR machine the legs in such a way that they can only go on the correct way2) Include a package of shorter screws for mounting a table top less than 1″ thick; I used 5/8 copper treated planks to give the table top a rustic look but I had to go to Home Depot to buy my own screws (annoying) because the ones included assume the table top would exceed 1″ in thickness3) The electrical box should have all the input ports on the same side, it’s a bit unusual to have the power cable coming out one side of the box and the control box on the other (it makes routing the cables uglier than it needs to be when it was so close to being perfect…)Important note: you need a table top with at least 24″ of depth to properly mount as that part of the frame is non-negotiable, unlike the width between the legs which is adjustable. Originally, I built my table top with four planks at 22″, but when the box arrived with my stand up legs I had to disassemble everything and extend it to five planks so it fit correctly.I liked it so much, I bought a second one for “his” and “her” heights.

Easy to assemble been working good.
Wife has been using this for about a year now its good. It had an error code come up a couple times but a reset fixed that. It was easy to assemble.

Awesome quality, modifiable for different desk
I have a live edge desk and bought this to turn it into a standing desk. It took a little bit of modifying since my desk is irregular in shape. But after cutting the support pieces a little bit, it’s perfect! Holds 2 monitors with an arm, my big piece of wood, and my desktop tower no problem. It’s not loud, moves smoothly, has great build quality, and is sturdier than the legs I had previously. Definitely, a recommended purchase if you’re looking to transform your current desk into a standing one. Awesome job!

    Great stand!
Easy to assemble and very sturdy I have a 58” tabletop on it. Still very sturdy with a 45lb tower and 2 monitors on it even at full standing height. It’s a good price seems average when I was looking for desks. It’s still expensive but it was worth it. I need more of them but the price makes me need to wait to save up more for others.

    After 3 years of use…
It’s well built and still lasting me after 3 years. Some things to note: the lowest height setting is too tall. I’m 5’11 and I needed to get a keyboard tray to mount under my desk to meet an appropriate ergonomic height. I’m not sure if the 176LBS capacity is accurate. I have a solid wood desk top, PC, 2 monitors, speakers, and a mic. Motor isn’t powerful enough to lift it. Placing my PC on the ground, I’m able to raise the desk.

    Never going back !
So I’ve been looking the internet forever trying to find a compatible standing desk frame to my wooden top I already had. This one is perfect. Not too noisy and quite speedy going up and down. I’m 5’9” and it’s suitable for even taller people. I think smaller people might struggle with the minimal height though (when seated)Super easy to assemble! Took me maybe 30mns ? Only thing I could complain would be the remote attachement that when screwed to my table top is a bit wobbly but that could be my fault and nothing adhesive can’t fix !Note: supports well my two heavy 28” monitors as pictured (my office is messy at the min so can’t take a full picture)

This is a great way to build your own standing desk if you already have a desk top. I already had an Ikea Glass Top that was sitting on some metal stands but my posture was horrible and I really wanted the electric standing desk without having to buy the whole desk with a top. The black frame is more dark gray and overall this desk looks and functions incredible. Seems to handle my 32″ monitor, 27″ iMac, Laptop, couple books and such with ease. Goes from sitting position to standing in probably 10-20 seconds. The sitting height is just a little high but I can adjust my office chair and then it’s fine so no big deal.Assembly was easy, took about 45min-1hr but probably under 30min if you had two people. Fun to assemble though. Then I used some 5lb 3M mounting tape to stick the desk controller under my desk top.I looked at a couple other companies for a frame but found others on Amazon really enjoyed this one and I fully agree and it’s the best price I could find. When in standing position the desk feels pretty sturdy, I’m sure most standing desks will wobble a little at the higher end of there height range but unless you’re aggressively typing, you don’t notice it too much. For those on the fence and still sitting at a normal desk, I highly recommend a standing desk as it’s so nice to have both with the touch of a button. When I get tired I sit, when I’ve been sitting for a while I just press the saved height buttons and stand. I have ordered a comfort mat for my feet as your feet will get sore just standing on carpet and very sore on hardwood so a cushion floor mat is needed.

Totally worth the price – I spent a long time hunting down an affordable, automatic, stand up desk frame and this is it.Way cheaper than it’s competitors, and you don’t even have to go find a brand new desk top to use it. I bought someone’s old IKEA desk from facebook marketplace and got the whole thing at a fraction of what the desktop itself would’ve cost me and just used it with this base. It’s extremely sturdy, silent when moving, and feels great overall. For some reason my left leg is twisting to a side, but it looks like it’s connected fine to the top so I just have to troubleshoot it later. And the desk handles the weight of my two monitors and a bunch of other crap just fine. (38″ monitor and 34″ monitor + mounts + speakers + laptops etc etc etc)It’s kind of tricky to make sure you get everything working as far as cables go – If you have a laptop that’s also on your desk and everything is connected to it you should be just fine. But if you also use a desktop like I do, you have to be very conscious of what cables connect to the desktop and make sure they have enough slack to not tug or break something when you raise the desk.I had to screw a surge protector to the bottom of my desktop in order to accommodate the power supplies and connections for all my monitors and other stuff to make sure nothing pulled on itself when i put it up at the top level, but that was no big deal at all.The desk has 3 settings you can save to memory and I think that’s a good number. I have one for standing, one for sitting and one for when i’m using an under-the-desk treadmill.Overall, i LOVE this base and it’s price and it’s totally worth it. I’m buying a second one for my husband when we move and might gift one to my dad as well.

What did I like most? Well, I appreciated that the frame itself was fairly easy to construct. I reused a table top from a desk that I already had, as it matched other furniture I had in my office. So, because I already had to do the work of dissembling my current desk, the ease of constructing the frame was much welcomed. It is definitely worth having two people to build this, though.I had to get creative with adapting the frame to my table top, as it wasn’t flush across the bottom, but that wasn’t the frame’s fault! As it relates to its performance, it does the job well. I have a phone, some office supplies, laptop, secondary monitor and an arm mount for the laptop and monitor; the motor on this can handle it without any problems! I only really need two height settings, sitting and standing, but a third doesn’t hurt.I like that you can switch between centimeters and inches. What did you like least? The settings are a bit weird to work through at first. The instructions aren’t very clear on this, but the touch controls go to “sleep” after a certain amount of time, and you have to press and hold the “M” button to wake it up. Seems weird to me, as “M” also is what you press to save to memory for each setting. The up/down arrows aren’t as responsive as I’d like, but nothing really to complain about.I haven’t used the “T” / timer setting, as I don’t really see that as a practical function. I stand when I’m feeling annoyed with sitting; once I get tired of standing, I sit. A pre-defined time to switch from standing to sitting seems unnecessary.Overall, it’s a good product for the price, and I haven’t had any regrets with it, that is, beyond the occasional joke from co-workers!

So if you are like me, you read reviews to see how people like things. So here it is – buy this. Don’t hesitate. You have found what you are looking for.The stand arrived a couple of days early based on the estimate. Nice size box – easy for one person to move around. Pretty heavy. Packaged very well. The box had some minor damage but nothing that impacted the stand itself.Construction was easy. Parts were easy to figure out. Took me maybe 30 minutes. Adding the desktop was simple. I used an existing desk since I wanted a “back” to it to hide my cords. This thing is so smooth going up and down. I like the single motor set up so you don’t have to worry about the sides getting out of sync. At the very top, it is slightly (and I mean only slightly) wobbly. But not enough to cause any sort of concern. For those of you wondering “does this go high enough” I am 6’7″ and this is perfect for me. I literally have not sat at the desk since I raised it up. I stand all the time now. It is so convenient. One note – you MUST get a pad to stand on if you have hard floors like I do. You may even need one if you have carpet just for more padding. All in all – buy this. Put your own top on it. You will love it.

I am completely amazed at how sturdy this frame ended up. Considering the pricy options for other home office desks. For the last nearly three months working from home during the COVID lockdown, I was working off a shabby corner table that I repositioned–the wife took the true home office. After looking all around the web for a good deal with great value, I was unable to find what I wanted. I stumbled upon this raising desk frame from VIVO and along with their 43-inch top I am re-energized for work. I can set positions and the elevating motor is quick, but quiet, at handling the job. The frame is what I would consider heavy-duty and seems to be durable enough to last for years. The desk is set on top of carpeting and at first, I was concerned about wobbling, but there is none. Also, I mounted to 24-inch monitors on a VIVO stand to the desk and there is millimeters of movement, not like the side table I was using where I now have a gouge on the back wall. I considered buying an elegant home desk from All Modern, but was put off by the prices—especially since I just needed a good second desk. Not saying that the VIVO is second to others, but had I noticed this back in March, I would have been spared many days of neck and back pain working on a side table repurposed as a work desk.
