A sturdy product
Having used this for about a year, on a weekly basis, I can say that this is one of the better steamer pots that I’ve purchased. The previous one I had was a different make, that showed notable wear in a year, but this one has stayed sturdy, and in as good of a condition as it was at the second month of use.It’s also the same size as my previous steamer pot set, and mix and matches very well with the older parts.Excellent purchase for those who love to cook.

Love this steamer, very versatile
Steamer arrived next day and was able to steam 2 while fish simultaneously using the multi-tiered racks. Steamer is huge! Despite not choosing the largest size, was able to fit a 9.5” round pyrex dish inside steamer. Versatile: used steamer to cook pasta. I can see so many uses for this product. Love it!

I have wanted a steamer for a long time and been looking at all models… Love this one because it’s very functional, water boil quite fast but doesn’t dry up very fast, bottom is thicker than the walls but it’s fine… I’d say for a steamer who needs super thick walls. Also love the high dome cover, give a lot of room for the food. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I wish I bought this years ago
My old two tier bamboo steamer finally bit the dust after 15+ years and I was looking at replacements. Thanks to inflation bamboo steamers are so expensive that I decided to splurge and buy this 3 tier stainless steamer, hoping it would perform just as well.So far, it has exceeded my expectations! It takes about as much storage space as my old 2 tier, because of its clever design where everything fits into everything else. Despite this, it’s impossible to accidentally set it up wrong when you are ready to use it. The tier “plates” only fit where they are meant to go.The diameter was the same as my old steamer but this one is more spacious somehow. (I bought the 11″) There’s also more vertical room in between the tiers than the typical bamboo steamer.I use the steamer exclusively for steamed buns and I can easily fit 4 per tier, with room to spare.The bottom plan is very spacious and can hold a lot of water, meaning there’s no worrying about having to refill it while steaming.The steamer holds in the steam really well and all tier cook evenly. With my old steamer I had to rotate the bottom and top tier midway through. I don’t have to do that anymore.The steamer was so easy to set up and use. I can’t believe how much of a difference it makes. My buns come out just the same, even better since they no longer have to cool down outside the steamer and have more vertical room to puff.While in use, the vents in the lid work really well at redirecting excess steam and it’s easy to direct it in whatever direction is safest by rotating the lid.Both set of handles do not get hot during use, but the lid handle gets extremely hot and couldn’t be touched without an oven mitt.The little “window” on the lid gets steamed up immediately and is kind of useless to see anything while cooking.I found it easy to clean and it’s easier to clean than bamboo.

Lighter weight than expected; works well steaming everything!
At first, these steaming pots were lighter weight than I had expected, and made me worried about the quality and durability. But after using it to steam dim sum and veggies, they seemed to work just fine and the food came out delicious without being soaked – i.e., the interior seems to do a good job at diverting the condensation so they don’t drip directly onto the food.The handles are riveted on; looks a bit flimsy but it’s sturdy so far (long term durability may be an issue). Also, the handles do get very hot, as the design makes it easy to conduct heat to the handles.Given the light-construction, I would treat these as fragile, as it looks like an accidental bang with other metal pots or a sharp hard corner would dent the surface.

Perfect!
Great pot and steamer set. It’s huge and exactly what I was looking for to steam whole fish, dumplings and rice noodle rolls. Feels like good quality and as if it will last a long time. The hardest part was finding place to store it when not in use but even still it nests together nicely so is much more compact than it looks when all tiers are stacked on top of each other.

Update!!! Water leak!!!
Update: water is now leaking out from where the handle is rivetted to the pot. Look at my video for reference. I’ve used this about 6 times in the last 3 weeks and the performance is now lacking. A bit disappointed to be honest.This steamer is absolutely gigantic!I made a steam “Kueh Lapis” and i found the only downside to this steamer is the way the lid was designed, there seems to be droplets of water dripping into whatever i’m steaming. The water droplets is dripping from where the glass meets the metal, there is a small lip where water collects and eventually starts dripping.If you’re steaming veggies or fish, it is a great steamer though.

Great for steaming a whole chicken in about 25 mins and lightly steam some vegetables and egg custard as well. Absolutely massive and able to use on a home cooker. Packs up nicely, inside one another for easy storage.
