Significant wealth is reliably within your grasp. Here is how you do it.
Best book on building, protecting and passing-on personal wealth that I have read. It is full of sensible, practical and proven advice…advice that has been proven to work by many highly successful investors. This is the essential playbook that the most successful professional investors have used. Tony Robins interviewed and learned from a wide range of the most successful wealth-builders of our time and then distilled the learnings into his own wealth-building actions and finally into this easily read book. No matter what your experience is in investing, you will find the information in this book useful. It is worth reading more than once. And worth applying starting now, no matter how much wealth you have now.Having had some success myself in building wealth using practices very similar to those in Robin’s book, I was so taken with the advice and strategy outlined in Robins book that I bought copies for all my family and close friends.Be ‘UNSHAKEABLE’ in applying the methods in this book if you want significant financial success.

Great for amateurs and intermediate investors.
Great for amateurs and intermediate investors.Tony Robbins delivers again. This book’s main idea is to invest in Index Funds and hold long term.Tony solidifies his argument by showing that most market corrections have followed strong rebounds and its best for people to re balance their portfolios rather than dump all their stock. He goes into great detail on this. Also tackles the psychology of wealth and how fear based decisions hurt investors in the long term.Overall a great book for beginners who want to understand how the stock market success stories have achieved long term wealth.

Very Basic – Good for Beginners
Basic premise: Index funds good, everything else bad.Tony does have some very good information here about how the market works and the basics of buying and selling – which is explained in a very straightforward manner. He does a good job of making you feel like you get a handle on what’s what in the financial world. However, after that – the remainder of the book (1/2 at least) basically just hammers home that index funds are the only thing you should be buying (particularity through his partner in this book who owns a trading company through which you can buy said index funds) – oh, and diversify.I can’t fault him for padding this out to an entire book when it probably could’ve been a series of articles, as he’s donating 100% of the proceeds to charity – but I have enjoyed his other books a bit more. All in all, recommended if you’re new to investing – if you’re intermediate / experienced, I’d probably pass.

Condensed version of his previous book
I love Tony, I’ve seen them live and I’ve done a lot of his books and recordings. I absolutely love that he is guiding us with money and I like how easy this book is to read. He gave me a lot of hope and positive outlook on how I negative situation can actually be a positive one. That is the number one thing I got from this book and worth the read

Great book for people who are clueless about investment especially investing in the stock market. Tony breaks down complex words and concepts into simple language that anyone can understand and start investing if they want to! Not only that, Tony has also exposed some secrets which were not privy to the ordinary person! Now I’m able to make a more informed decision when investing. A must read!

Buy it and do what he says.
Really good. Do what he says and save yourself A LOT OF MONEY and HEADACHES. Dump the adviser and pick the portfolio and do it yourself or find a ROBO adviser that has similar portfolios available. Ask yourself what makes your adviser an expert. Most are just sales people, pushing what their bosses have told them to.

  7. Donna D

    Easy to understand !
I LOVE Tony Robbins as a speaker, writer & humanitarian. I bought 3 of Unshakable to give to a friend & a nephew because Tony’s writing is excellent – plain & direct. I especially appreciate him teaching how to avoid broker fee ripoffs.

Good book, has a lot of great advice but i find he focuses too much on index funds. Most people that are new to investing will probably fail if they only follow that advice. Also, i find it’s kind of a conflict of interest that he suggests/mentions to do business with companies that pay him compensation…but that’s my opinion. This book also mostly applies to the US and not Canada, which is useless to me. Wish i would’ve known before buying.

Tony Robbins has done it again. Another great book.

Best book I’ve read in ages. If you know absolutely nothing about finance, read this book and you’ll know everything you need to know. Anyone can follow this plain language guide to finance. There’s so much you don’t know and need to know!

There are a few books that I have read, and even before I finished them, realized that they changed something significant about my life. Unshakeable: Your FInancial Freedom Playbook by Tony Robbins is one of those. It wasn’t that the principles here are new to me. The concepts are actually pretty simple to grasp.Don’t operate out of fear, or invest according to emotion. Make your decisions based on logic.Invest for the long term. Compounding interest always wins.Minimize tax liability and fees.Diversify to protect yourself when down times come.Invest more when everything is on sale.Rebalance your investments, preferably annually.Just because I shared these basic highlights does not mean you do not need to read the book. Far from it. They absolutely mean you need to read it, because all of the principles in the list make sense, and you can know you should do them, but unless you know how, that knowledge is useless. You could flounder about on your own: I have done so most of my life. You can remake the mistakes others have made, and learn on your own. But that will be (and has been) an expensive choice. You can sit on the sidelines, living in fear and keeping your assets and investments in cash rather than getting into investing at all. This is the surest way to lose, especially with today’s low interest rates.Or you can instead learn from the masters. Read Tony’s book and not only will you learn from him, but you will learn from those he has known and worked with, some of the wealthiest and most successful investors on the planet. You will also learn how to choose a financial advisor of your own, where to set up your retirement funds and how, and even more.I can’t say enough about this book, but I can’t leave the review without talking about the final chapter, something I have been talking about and trying to master the last few years. Tony tells you of his journey and gives you his advice about how to be personally wealthy–in a beautiful state rather than a suffering state no matter what your circumstances. This takes a disciplined mind, and it is only a disciplined mind that will follow the advice outlined in this book. The biggest obstacle to your success in any area is you, and this book will teach you how to overcome that in more than just your finances.Five stars. Well done. Well edited and written. If you don’t read another book about building wealth and finances this year, make reading this one a top priority. You won’t regret it.
