The tamper arrived today. I haven’t tested it out however I inserted it in my tall 64oz vitamix container. It fits find. The bottom of the tamper DOES NOT touch the blades. Other reviewers must have mistaken for the short 64oz container. So far the quality is sturdy and nice. We’ll see how long this tamper will last. Can’t beat the value. 2 for 1.

Size is exactly above the blades if you insert it correctly in the middle when you tampen down the food as you blend. Just be careful to not hit the blades with this and you should be fine.
