Love the recipes, wish it gave prep times
Absolutely love the selection of recipes, they turn out great every time! My only qualm with the book is that it says 0 minutes prep time for literally every single recipe, regardless of how much prep work actually needs to be done (in some cases, it’s quite a lot of veggie chopping for a single recipe, ie. minestrone). Because of this, the total time to make a meal is often significantly longer than suggested by the recipes. Otherwise, really great book with lots of helpful info and beautiful pictures.

This cookbook and the other by the same author also includes explanations of all of the functions and how and when to use them which are not included in the instructions with the appliance so it is a great go to for both operations and recipes.

So far I’ve steamed asparagus and eggs, and made a couple of meat meals – all very tasty, fast, and easy when you get used to the panel. Good idea to also buy a steamer basket.

I have had this book all of three days, and already have dived into making some of these recipes. I have tried the Minestrone soup, I added some thick tube noodles to it and garlic…..it was amazing and better than Olive Garden. Did the hummus, and wow, best hummus I have ever had…and so fast, no overnight soaking the chickpeas. I am in love with my pot and this cookbook helps me to create new recipes I have never tried and make other foods much faster and better. It’s a nice hardback book, with nice pictures and easy to follow. Often the ingredients are the normal ones we all carry in our kitchen. I am doing an Denver Omelet next, cuz I can never get omelets just right. I’m glad I bought it!

Worth the wait to finally receive the book. Pity it’s tailored to the American market. Luckily I have a good knowledge of the American terminology, so following recipes isn’t too bad. Might cause some issues for us Europeans.

The best I can say about this ‘eBook’ is that it’s a paper book just copied and made available as an eBook. It’s okay if I put it on my 4k monitor (which I don’t keep in the kitchen incidently) but trying to read this on my phone is torture on my eyes. If I zoom in, then I have to move the page from side to side in order to read a full line which, when you have your hands covered in meat and vegetable juices isn’t practical. If I don’t zoom in then I can’t read it (even with readers on).Not that I have a problem with the recipes, they’re quite good, altho it’s distracting reading all the measurements and ingredients in imperial and US centric product names….but I expected that.All in all, there’s a better Ultimate Instant Pot Cookbook on Amazon for less than half the price with more and better recipes.
