Thank you for writing it and sharing your wisdom with us!I started reading this book a few weeks ago and already I am breaking bad habits, actually focusing on things I need to do and being productive in my day! My schedule and life is feeling so much lighter now that I am getting work done and getting it out of my head!     I am really grateful that I discovered this book and this practical method of reducing overwhelm, procrastination, fear and lack of motivation. This is an easy to read, practical book with a lot of real life application. Once you start reading it, you can start applying it. There are a lot of testimonials in the book and at times I found them a little distracting and felt they interrupted the flow but overall I think everyone can benefit from applying the 5,4,3,2,1 approach. In fact, I used it to write this review..First time I’ve followed through on writing one. Will be buying this book for gifts.

    I love the 5 second rule concept but I found the book to be more drawn out than it had to be. I wish I’d watched the TedTalk first as it wasn’t as time consuming and more to the point. Lots of real life examples of the people the rule has helped though.

    Not an avid review writer but I will commit this time because I believe the message this book sends out is very important. Mel Robbins simply awakens us humans what we are carrying with us all along: strength and courage to live our life to the fullest. She just reminds us how to activate it. This is a must read for even the most successful of people. I had to ignore my annoyance for many of the spelling and grammar mistakes on the social media excerpts though! People can take 5 seconds to proof read their posts! Lol
