A Game-Changer for Wealth and Success!
I can’t remember the last time a book completely shattered my perspective on wealth-building the way The 18 Laws of Leverage did. It’s one of those rare gems that makes you stop, rethink everything you’ve been taught about success, and realize—you’ve been working way too hard for way too little. From the very first chapter, I felt like the author was speaking directly to me. The idea that hard work alone isn’t enough to achieve real financial freedom was both unsettling and liberating. So many of us were raised to believe that grinding endlessly is the only way to succeed, but this book unveils a smarter, more strategic path—one built on leveraging resources, people, and systems to multiply results effortlessly.

Inspiring, engaging, and packed with tangible wealth-building tips!
You can often tell a good book by the very first sentence, and this one didn’t disappoint! Right from the get-go, I was engaged in the author’s storytelling and wanted to keep reading. Not only does Nate do an extraordinary job of debunking common financial myths (example: “You need to work harder to create more wealth”), but he makes technical topics much more digestible. I’ve read other sales/business books in the past, but this one landed so much better and was far more enjoyable to read. I’ll certainly come back to it often when I want to strengthen my leverage mindset. If you’re looking to achieve limitless wealth, this is a must-read!

A Tactical Guide to Scaling Wealth Through Leverage
Nate Hambrick’s The 18 Laws of Leverage presents a structured and engaging approach to building wealth through leverage—using other people’s money (OPM), time (OPT), and resources to multiply income streams. The book is well-organized, covering a broad spectrum of financial strategies that successful entrepreneurs and investors use to scale wealth efficiently.Hambrick’s writing style is clear, direct, and actionable, making complex financial strategies accessible even to beginners. His principles—such as charging for results, monetizing brand value, and focusing on profits—align with many proven business philosophies. The book provides real-world examples, including figures like Mark Cuban and Warren Buffett, which reinforce the credibility of the concepts. One of its strongest elements is its practical application, with “Leveraged Action Steps” at the end of each chapter, encouraging readers to take concrete action. This makes it more useful than books that solely provide abstract ideas without clear steps to implement them. However, while the book offers valuable insights, it doesn’t necessarily introduce groundbreaking concepts. Many of the strategies, such as real estate investing with OPM, focusing on high-leverage activities, and passive income generation, are commonly discussed in business and finance literature. Some chapters also feel repetitive, reiterating similar principles in different ways.Additionally, certain strategies—like using credit lines for investments or limiting assets on paper—may not be suitable for all readers, particularly those without an existing financial safety net. The book assumes a level of entrepreneurial risk tolerance that may not apply to everyone.

Nate Hambrick has put together an incredible resource here. This is a book I have underlined, highlighted, taken notes and re-read. It is full of so much wisdom I will be going back to it for years to come. The 18 different laws are applicable to many different stages of business and financial knowledge. It is like a text book to take you from one level to the next. I especially enjoyed at the end of each chapter there was a little workbook section to jot down notes called “Leveraged Action Steps” that helps you actually DO the things in the chapter instead of merely read about them. Very well done.

An easy read but profoundly impactful. This book will make you think about business success and personal development in a fresh way, distilling 18 tried and true strategies as different applications of one simple concept: leverage. This book really is a one-stop shop for the reader looking to start making meaningful steps toward securing financial freedom. I was really impacted by law 1, “stand on the shoulders of giants,” encouraging the habit of reading. This is one that deserves a spot of the bookshelf for reading again and again!
