I own a 3 qt Instantpot that did not come with anything to steam veggies, not good. This steamer basket is the perfect accessory and exactly what I needed to properly steam veggies! Pros: Lightweight, Legs on bottom keep the veggies out of the water, Fairly good value, Perfect fit, Easy to clean. Con: The cheap padded handle slides around and should be fixed, it’s annoying but not a deal breaker. After using it many times, I can definitely recommend this Steamer basket to make delicious veggies with your pressure cooker.

Actually, the best steamer ever was the Elbe river Saxon Paddle Steamer Fleet in Dresden (known as “White Fleet”), Germany. It is the oldest and biggest in the world, with around 700,000 passengers per year. However, it is more difficult to use it to prepare vegetables since it weighs over a million tonnes and the passengers get in the way with their luggage and constant demands for refunds when they find the viewing deck is full of carrots.In terms of vegetables, this amazon product works. Its durable and there are no moving parts on it, like those silly “flower” steamers, so there is nothing to fall off. Top marks.

Size chart is unclear/wrong
Size chart indicates the bottom diameter is 14.5cm.I assumed they meant the size without the top curved sides (18cm)My pot is 15.5cm of inside diameter.The basket real fitting size is around than 16cm+ which means will not fit in.14.5cm is a arbitrary measure that doesn’t help checking if it will fit in the pot.Please indicate the bottom value of your charts as 16cm so people don’t use unusable measures.

Perfect mesh basket for draining the water from the cooked soba noodle
The handle included in the package are not secure. When I lifted the basked with contents inside, the handle slipped off and I almost lost my cooked buckwheat noodle. Except that, the basket is fine.

This pot is of decent size for just me living by myself where I cook rice in it or boiled potatoes and my instapot or vegetables is easy to drain things because it has a handle and you can move it over to the sink fairly easy once it’s done cooking. I liked it a lot and use it quite a bit
