The first pitcher sent was bad. When installed on My Vitamix blender, my blender did not register the installation and would not work. Drive sprocket didn’t fit well in the reciever. The rim edge was so sharp, if not careful, you could get cut. The replacement sent had a lid that did not fit well or seal and allowed hot liquid to spray out all over when in use. I made multiple attempts to seal the lid. Clearly there is poor quality control.Dont waste your time. Spend a few dollars more and get the Vitamix pitcher.

The jug is strong, sturdy and well made, it came with an extra dry blade.I don’t use tampers, that just sits in the cupboard.I had no problems like the other reviewers had said.the lid clips on strong and stays in place.Overall happy.

I never write a bad review, but this product was not what I expected, this is a knock off and an expensive one at that! I had another stainless steel one for my Vitamix, and this one does not begin to compare in quality. The lid, as well as the little cap that goes into the lid, are both very difficult to put on and take off. The “seams” are rough-not made well at al! It did not come with any instructions, can’t find how to connect the tamper holder, nor how to change the blade that came with it… everything about this metal blender for the Vitamix is a disappointment. The only positive I can add is that arrived quickly!
