    Perfect!
No more broken eggs while cooking!

  2. Robert Rink

    Easy to use and clean
It is stackible to cook 14 eggs and can be used independant to do 7 eggs or less. The handles are light but work as intended. As eggs are sold by the dozen this allows tou to cook the whole carton.

  3. Linda Larsson

Good idea for cooking large batch of eggs
Works fine for small to medium eggs but large eggs have to be tilted to fit the top rack on, which is ok if you don’t mind your yolks over to one side. Top rack doesn’t clip in place very securely. No cooking instructions. I use 1/2 cup water in the IP. Cook manual 5 mins, pressure release after a further 5 mins, remove eggs and immerse in ice bath for 5 mins, peel. Perfect hard boiled eggs. Increase cook time and pressure release time to 6 mins for large eggs like duck eggs.

Use these for the 5-5-5 rule. Place in Instant Pot. Add 2 cups of water. Pressure cook for 5 minutes. Natural release for 5 minutes. Release steam. Place in ice water bath for 5 minutes. Eggs peel perfectly every time and are perfectly done.

The photos I have attached show that it comes in a ziplock bag and that’s all — no special packaging and no user’s manual booklet. Sure, you may think that it’s not needed, but without it, I didn’t know how to use it properly and ended up using it the first time with the racks upside down. I had the top rack on the bottom and I was using the handles to prop up the bottom rack tall enough to clear the eggs below, but it was wobbly and I had to carefully balance it to keep it from falling over sideways. Then, while I was washing it, I noticed that the feet on what is the top rack are hooked and decided to try and see if they fit onto the rack with the handles. Then I discovered that the rack with the handles is the bottom, and you hook the feet of the top rack over the bottom rack and it’s a perfect fit and very sturdy. The second reason that a user’s manual booklet is needed is that you need to know how to use it. Sure, all you do is put the bottom rack inside the Instant Pot and put eggs on it and then you put the top rack on (if needed) and put the eggs on it, but what do you do next? Well, you need 2 cups of water. Now what? What setting do you use and how long do you cook the eggs? I found several videos on YouTube and got confused because each one had their own interpretation of how to boil the eggs, but they all had the same cooking time: 5 minutes. Well, just like a good steak, there are varying grades of doneness, from soft boiled, to medium boiled, to hard boiled, to very hard boiled, and 5 minutes is for soft boiled with the yolks runny. I don’t like that. I like mine medium hard for eating, and for salads, I like them very hard boiled. I finally found a website Natashas Kitchen (search for Natashas Kitchen Instant Pot Eggs) that tells how long to cook your eggs and even has a chart of what they look like at 5 minutes, 6 minutes, and so on until 10 minutes and in the description, there is a paragraph that explains the cooking times and says that those are times set for large eggs, so if you are cooking medium eggs reduce the times by 1 minute. I imagine that if you are cooking small eggs, then you should reduce the times by 2 minutes. Once I had the chart, I boiled my dozen large eggs for 10 minutes to make an egg salad, which I made just to try it out so I could write this review, and they came out perfectly. They were all cooked just until the gray forms around the yolks with only a tint of gray. That’s perfect for me, for what I wanted. Another minute would have those ugly gray rings around the yolks. And one more thing before I go: In her blog, Natasha says that boiling the eggs in the Instant Pot makes it easieir to peel the eggs. She isn’t kidding! I have a special way of boiling eggs the conventional way, but using the Instant Pot makes them even easier to peel.
