    Excellent wireless headphones. Great sound.
Well, I have a very nice desktop set up with top shelf Hi-Fi Man and Audeze headphones driven by a Burson amplifier. So I like nice sound and have spent most of my life getting it.For Bluetooth stuff I have the AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM4 both over the ear headphones. For reasons needed not get into, I needed another set and didn’t want to spend allot of money. But I still wanted good sound. So I gambled on the Soundcore Q45 as they had good reviews and were on sale.I’m lovin these. For Bluetooth headphones they sound great. They are at least as good as my Sony WH-1000XM4, but with better comfort and build quality. And may I point you to the price of these!!Connectivity is as good as my AirPods Max to my iPhone. I turned them on and go. Really well done. I like the comfort and aesthetics to boot. Sound is great (for wireless). Noise cancelling and transparent modes are very good, but fall a tiny bit short of the AirPods Max. Not a dealbreaker by any means. Battery life is fantastic. The case is beautiful aesthetically and functional but very budget friendly. Again, not a dealbreaker. Can’t see anyone being disappointed with these. Good job Anker/Soundcore!Very highly recommended.

[UPDATED] Great! Very effective noise cancellation, padding on top should be thicker
They have all the great features I care about:* very effective noise cancellation (both with and without music playing)* great sound quality (I am no audiophile)* when I take calls the other side hears me clearly (even after upgrading firmware to the latest version)* having it paired both with my desktop computer as well as my cellphone is amazing* battery life is astonishing, I charge them about one a week* their fit around the ears is just what it should be – not too tight, not too lose. well done!* they look great! (I bought the blue version)What could be better:* They’re by no means light and the padding on top really should have been thicker. You can feel them pushing down, although you probably won’t pay attention to it anymore after a while.* Once every few weeks they lose their sync with one of the devices and have to be paired up again.I still give them 5 stars, but if any of the engineers at Soundcore is reading it – next time add more padding on top. Thank you.UPDATE after 9 months of use:* Took it for a long-haul overnight flight a few times and they tune out the low droning noise of a plane by 80%. Truly amazing. They are comfortable enough to sleep in them in an airplane seat for many hours.* Also, having an option for wired connection to connect to plane’s entertainment system is a big plus.* I learned to appreciate the battery life. I don’t know if it’s 50H but it’s massive. I only charge them about once every couple of weeks of normal use.* Microphone and noise cancellation when talking to people on the phone works rather well, although because the mic is near your ear it does pick up some noises from the environment, which is expected.* Does a great job switching between playback from 2 different devices without any problems, every time.* Love them even more than at the start. Highly recommended!

    Game Changer in the Office
I grabbed the Q45 vs the Q30 or Q20 at the advice that they were a little more solid and a little bigger ear cups. I have tried a friend’s Q20 and another friend’s Q30 just to see the difference. If you have bigger ears or head I would suggest leaning towards the Q45. Each person found the others sit on the ear more than surround the ear leading to discomfort over long periods of time. The price does jump between all of them so be sure to make the best decision for yourself.I have had these for a month now and have used them a minimum of a couple hours a day at work and as long as 12 hours. The sound was good enough for the price on each of the pairs but without the EQ they sounded pretty flat. So be prepared to set them up with the app.The comfort is great. I can wear these for a full work day with no issues. The noise cancelling is the absolute game changer for me. As someone who is easily distracted being able to block out 95%+ of the noise I can’t believe I didn’t get something sooner. The connectivity can be a little frustrating as times as I use it for work calls on Teams and my music on my phone. But it has only needed to be reset once. The case is a little too tight in my opinion with very little wiggle room and has a lot of room for improvement. But it is a solid case. The charging speed and battery life is fantastic. It charges in a couple hours and it will last my full week.My one complaint is if the headphones are charging they won’t connect to be able to continue listening. Pretty minor as I can find other times to charge them where I don’t need them.

    Fantastic headphones for work
I use these daily at the office for phone calls and teams meetings. People can hear me well enough and most importantly the battery lasts quite a while. I can last the week on one charge but if it’s a busy week, I’ll plug them in mid-week. They don’t take long to charge though. They fit comfortably, are not heavy, and the sound quality is excellent for what they are. I did try gaming with them and the sound quality was awful, but for music and office calls they are excellent. I loooooove the noise cancelling.I love the Anker and Soundcore brands, and the value you get from these headphones is superior. The travel case is a nice touch, I use that as well to pack them away.

Update: I must give the highest accolades to Anker Soundcore Customer Service. Knowing that I had returned the 1st set of Q45 Space headphones because I had a sound problem, Customer Services personnel persisted in resolving my problem. Now with a new set of headphones that connected flawlessly WITH NO SOUND PROBLEMS AT ALL, I now have a set of Q45 Space Headphones that I can use on calls, class and conferences. Sound quality is clear on both ends of the conversation, headphones are very comfortable wearing; have worn 8 hours with only short break. At day’s end,. battery life, after 8 hours of wear, only went from high to medium. No charge needed during interim. Range let me go downstairs an out to the street still hearing through headphone with no interruptions. When taking breaks. Headsets hang comfortably around my neck, they are light enough to be worn with C3-C5 neck injury. NO ANC complaints. What I do miss is the touch button ANC change format that I experienced on the q35, these contain a button which is a bit more difficult to navigate when wearing. So far I am very pleased with the Q45 Space. Haven’t had time to enjoy music yet and play with all features.Old: Returned headphones. I use headphones for primarily for phone call use. First attempt call could not hear caller, switched iPhone to speaker to complete call. Second attempt yielded a screeching sound heard by caller and myself, again back to iPhone speaker to complete. Perplexed at quality because I owned the Q35’s that I really liked. The mic began failing on the Q35’s at approximately a year’s duration. Thought the Q45’s would be better. WRONG!Contacts with manufacturer largest complaint is that I would receive successive emails noting that prior emails had not been. I was still receiving “try this —“ and you haven’t responded subsequent to me emailing that the headphones had been returned. I finally combined all emails activity into one and sent it again reiterating that the headphones had been returned. Second is major complaint: when an item, new, is not working, please don’t send a litany of “try this”. The problem was the sound and app was properly installed.Re comparison of Q35 and Q45, can tell you ANC activation is better on Q35, requires only touch rather than Button hunt. Q35 instantly recognizes when headphones placed on, Q45 did not. Battery life (days) and sound excellent on Q35. Me: tempted to buy another Q35 but antsy about mic problems encountered.
