Looks nothing like the product photo
The color I ordered looks like a smooth, dark brown in the product photo but what I got is a completely different light brown. Product photos also show numbered pages, which this does not have. The faux leather cover is soft but doesn’t feel durable and scratches / dents easily. Paper is decent quality and most pens don’t bleed through but it’s not that smooth and I’ve seen better even at this price point. Overall not impressed and would not order again. I’ll use this for random notes and scrap paper but it’s not useful for what I bought it for.

It seems like I’m in an eternal quest for an excellent notebook to use for my diaries. Since the name of the company that makes this notebook is Scribbles That Matter, I really wanted to like it.It came with some features I really like, such as the pen holder on the side, a couple of cloth ribbons to use as bookmarks, a place in the back to store stuff like postage stamps, and a hardcover with a faux-leather cover. I also like the fact that the notebook is available in many colors.I do have a few quibbles though, which is why I didn’t give it five stars. First, though the paper is supposed to be 120 gsm, I’m still getting a bit of bleedthrough on the opposite side of the page from which I’m writing, as seen in the attached photo. This happens when I use a fountain pen with a medium or a fine nib. If I use one with an extra fine (EF) nib, it doesn’t seem to be a problem. The pens I normally use are a Lamy Safari and a Kaweco Student.The other quibble I have is that the pages aren’t numbered. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s annoying that I have to add the page numbers myself. If they add page numbers to future versions of the notebook, I may give them another look, but at the moment, when I fill this volume, I plan on using a notebook from a different company.

Das Notizbuch fühlt sich sehr gut an. Die Seiten und die Liniatur sind perfekt und Schrift scheint nicht durch. Dazu noch in meiner Lieblingsfarbe gelb. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
