Great quality & doubles as a colouring book
I bought these for my kids that just turned 4 and I’m so pleased with it. There’s lots of practice for the kids to cut and they think it’s a fun game because the pics are all appealing to them. They colour the pics after cutting them and they feel like they are creating something themselves. It gives them a real sense of accomplishment. They ask to cut everyday which is a definite win!Initially I didn’t think there was a perforated edge because it’s really hard to see, but it’s there within the spine and the pages are easy to pull out. There’s also enough space for the kids to cut the page out themselves if they want to. The paper is great quality and easy for the kids to hold and cut properly without inadvertently tearing the page, or the page constantly flopping on them. As another reviewer said, there are no scissors included – and no colouring pencils, no case, no clips either for that matter (which are also shown in the photos). The description is really clear that it’s just the workbook.

Excellent to teach 3-5 yr old to use scissors. Plain but interesting fun and simple pictures, to teach exactly how to cut the first time. Well worth the price, I don’t understand the negative comments this book does what it says Scissor skills! It works.

Amazing for price point
Would have loved to see this with perforated pages, easy to tear out for classroom use or even home use. Slightly dificult to practice cutting different angles (age 2.5 & 4.5) while attatched to the “heavy” book. But other than that, it has great content! Glad I bought 2 copies, 1 for each child. Lots of simple lines to start with, and then it moves up in difficulty after the beginning practice.Age group listed on the cover seems accurate at 3-5. My 2.5 has not yet started this book, but my 4.5 has had a great time with the first several pages.

Good variety of pictures to cut
The book offers a good variety of pictures for the kids to cut. Some are more difficult while others are easier. It can also work as a coloring book. It will be better if the pages can be torn off the book for the kids to work on.

Excellent colour & cut workbook!
This booklet is excellent! Good quality pages. My 3yr daughter loves colour the pages first and then we learn scissor cutting skills. It’s wonderful. Highly recommended this little gem – totally worth it!

Our toddler first colors the page and then cuts on the lines or cuts the shapes out. She has learned to take time to adjust the paper and scissors to stay on the line. Her hand has gotten stronger so she no longer needs the second hand to open up the scissors before each cut.

The book has a great concept, to learn or help the child use scissors, strengthen hand and fingers – but – the pages are in a book which you need to rip out the page and sometimes the page is not ripped out correctly..
