Good shells overall except for the fact that one out of 10 came with crack on a side. I make soy candles and crack was discovered when pouring wax into it. All the wax was spilled on a table. So make sure check them when you receive them.

I don’t intend to actually use these as steamers, but I don’t doubt that they would work wonderfully in that capacity. These adorable mini steamers work great as favors for parties, celebrations or holidays and hold the equivalent of about 3 oreo cookies. You’ll need ribbons or some other mechanism to keep them together. They would make cute storage for small items like paper clips, push pins, rubber bands, etc. to tidy up a desk, though you might need to line the bottom with a circle of paper or cardstock to keep really small items from falling through the steam slots. Could also make a whimsical container for a personal sewing kit or emergency kit (aspirin, etc.) to stash in an office drawer.All 100 pieces arrived intact. There was no discoloration or odor. This lids fit nicely but are not tight. Construction is nice and there are no splinters though there are some pencil and occasional adhesive marks if you look closely (doesn’t detract from appearance).Pleased with this purchase and would buy again when needed.
