Great book for athletes and coaches.
This is an awesome book. Allan Stein has a ton of experiences with athletes to share so readers get to hear about some of the habits that have made current greats to exceptional in the NBA, and his tons of his interviews are highlighted. He is also an avid reader and shares some of the best ideas from other books, which means by reading this one you will save yourself some time looking through other books for some great ideas to use with your team, because this is a goldmine. I have read many books in the genre and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.

This is a great book for all former athletes
I absolutely loved this book! As someone who has spent their life playing sports and is now transitioning to the business world and coaching, I loved the simplicity in how Alan laid out the framework for high performance. If you are looking to Raise Your Game check this book out!

Great book for everyone even if you are not an athlete!
I was impressed with this book by @alansteinjr !Basketball is life as they say. In this book you take principles of elite basketball players and coaches and apply it to your organization/corporation where the players are your coworkers, the coach is your boss and the team is your organization. I needed a little boost for getting back to work. This book was exactly what I needed. Furthermore it encourages me to be sure to put my son in sports in order for learn these principles that are transferable in business and in life. Now I even started watching #thelastdance on @netflix. It’s pretty good!

If you are looking to take that next step in your career, you need to invest in this book. It is based off of Alans personal experiences That helped him grow as top strength and conditioning coach into a key note speaker. It goes over how you can develop yourself, to working with in a staff or team setting and how the little things you do can make a difference in your overall performance in life!

I read a lot of leadership/high performance books and I love a great sports story. AND in the past year I have gotten a bit burned out by it all. There are so many books out there that if you are like me and you read this industry, it seems as though you can go from book to book to book and afterward say, “Now what?” So I took a break for a bit. Until Raise Your Game came out. I have followed Alan Stein Jr. for just the past year and was instantly fascinated by his resume. I thought, “WOW! This guy has worked with the best basketball players in the game. He must have some great stories and lessons!” And then, viola! Alan wrote a book! I was thrilled and the book does not disappoint. It is filled with stories only a guy with his experience can tell plus countless more stories that he has researched and dissected. Alan is a wonderful story teller. Beyond that, being a high performance coach he certainly understands how to ask the right questions that spark introspection, reflection and action. At the end of each chapter my “What now?” question is answered. And not by Alan telling me what to do. But instead by Alan asking the right questions in what he calls, “Self-test.” I will never play in the NBA and have the opportunity to be coached by a guy like Alan. This book allows me to get as close to that experience as possible and I am grateful to have found it.
