Helpful chunking and breakdown of sounds!
I bought this set for my 6 year old twins. One twin was needing help with his sound blends. I’ve only been using the cards for a week and I have noticed a major improvement with word/sound recognition!The cards that had errors appear to be corrected “eeg” is now spelt correctly “egg”. They removed the additional list of words on the “ox” sound card. In one of the 1 star reviews, the card had the wrong list of words.

The size is perfect for little hands. The cards are sturdy and well made. I like the matte finish, seems to make reading the text easier to read. Color coding makes organization easy and simple. This is definitely a tool that will be used a lot during the beginning phase of reading.

These phonics flash cards are the bomb for teaching kids how to read and say words correctly. Recently I started using them to teach my 5 year old daughter and she;s been making a great progress so far. The cards have these fun and colorful illustrations that grab her attention and make it easy for her to read and remember each phonic sound. We’ve also been using them to play games and do reading activities, which she absolutely loves.They’re also durable and come in a nice sturdy box with 4 rings and instructions. Great tool!
