    Pretty Good Pet Cam
This is an averaged price camera that works well for dealing with your pet. What I like about it is the style of it makes it look good in just about any decor. It is very easy to set up. It uses the Arenti app. I have several cameras that run on that app and I have found it is stable. The main page allows you to switch to viewing whatever camera you want to see.It has two way audio that I found to be lagging. Not by a lot, but it is noticeable while streaming. The picture quality is more than good enough to watch your pet, etc. The night vision is also pretty good once you get past your pets glowing eyes. The good thing about this camera is it is not very noisy when it is turning as it follows your pet while in warp mode. So there is little freaking your pet out with this camera. You can save images to the cloud and view it anywhere. You can also save recordings as well as pictures to an SD card. The only issue with using an SD card is if you want to save it to your computer you have to remove the SD card and plug it into your computer. It runs on standard 5V USB so you could even use a battery bank to power the camera any where. This camera makes it easy to communicate and watch your pet with ease. I think it is a good choice.

Excellent for many situations. Clear images, smooth articulation, excellent app.
If you want a plug and play camera that provides a really good 1080p picture, a quality night vision, predictable and reliably easy to control pan and tilt, all a very affordable price tag, this-is-it.Out of the box, you need to download the app, set up an account (email addressed and create a password) and then it is a single connection to an AC outlet, hold the reset button until it beeps then enter your wifi security code into the Arenti app and within, literally 2 minutes, you are up and running. It is that simple. That ALONE is enough to love this thing but there is more to love. The app has a very shallow learning curve, but there is a full user’sguide, in the Aprenti app, if you need more help. On it own, everything is very intuitively laid out.To start off it features all the necessary controls right from the user interface, two way talk, pan & tilt (360° rotation) and resolution settings. Arenti is kind to your data consumption by defaulting to 360p but a thumb stroke bumps that up to 1080p or you can set 1080p as your default. Live video observation is as simple as tapping the “Live” icon and you can view the scene in either portrait or landscape modes. You can also close the app window and continue with a thumb nail view of the live shot, superimposed and movable, as well as choose from 3 diffeeent size of thumbnail anywhere on your screen, so that you may do other things and still see the feed.Motion detection is very effective and can be tailored to more or less sensitive a trigger. Sound detection can also me used. Either feature can be turned off or on. All detections notify you with an unobtrusive alert on your phone and if you click on the alert, it immediately provides you a thumbnail of what it saw to be triggered. These thumbnails collect to form a library that you can individually delete or do as group or the whole. Video clips can be saved to a cloud based account or an on board microSD card for review. Clips can also be shared.Night vision is very effective and is an automatically trigger mode, if the light that the camera is operating in, gets too low. You will know if the camera is in that mode be seeing the live feed or thumb nails or by seeing the front face of the camera as it will have a circle of red illuminated dots around the lense.2 way communication is possible and effective. It is achieved by pushing and holding the icon while you talk and letting go to hear a response. It is always in “listening mode” and broadcasts whatever it’s hears without your input. Talking with someone is very similar to walkie talkie type setup. There is a tiny bit of a delay and requires a bit of a deliberate approach to talking. Voices on clearer on your phone than on the camera itself, where there is a little bit of distortion but everything is completely comprehensible.Sharing this camera with others is super easy as well. Whoever owns the account just needs to select the camera in question and select “share” then with a 2nd device (app must be installed there as well) you enter share mode as well and a QR code will come up, scan that code with the primary account device and you are done. The camera can be seen and controlled by each user, equally and even at the same time. The Aprenti app is also capable of viewing several different cameras through the same interface and for ease of identification, the user can rename each camera to reflect where it is or what it is watching.Although our camera is on a shelf, there is a provided mounting disc that allows you to wall or ceiling mount the camera easily. This device is also compatible with Amazon Echo and Google home. We use it as a stand alone device but we have tried it with Amazon Echo and it works flawlessly. As I said in the title, I have tried well over 2 dozens cameras and this one (we use it to monitor or dog when we are not home) is by far the simplest to use and to set up, that I have experienced so far. The price defies it quality and abilities, compared to any others at this price point and many above it.We have already recommend to two 2 friends who saw my wife using it at work and they were so impressed that they bought the camera. Both of themlove it and and feel that it exceeds their expectations, despite the initial impression of seeing my wife use it. Like us, they are amazed to be able to get this kind of product, at this price point.Absolutely recommended, it does everything that we want, flawlessly and easily.

Excellent picture quality, easy to use, simple set up and adds much needed security!
Great little camera! Very easy to set up and picture quality is top notch. Can be used as an indoor security cam, a baby monitor or a pet cam. This security camera is fully motorized and powered by a micro-USB cable WITH the included power brick (a sight not often seen this day and age).Set-up is very simple. Plug the camera into a power outlet and download the Arenti app from your phone’s app store.Once you have the app downloaded and opened on your phone, create an account with your email and password, after which you follow the instructions from the app.Hold the reset button on the base of the camera for approximately 5 seconds until it resets and the red light starts to blink. Connect the app to your home’s wifi and a QR code will pop up on the app. Show this QR code on your phone screen to the front of your security camera which will sync the two together and pair them. After that, you’re good to go!This device is motorized and can be fully rotated and controlled directly from the app. It can also be set up to do a 360 degree auto function. There are three settings for picture quality, SD, HD and UHD. All three settings look great, even on the SD quality. I normally leave the camera on SD to use less internet data, but if your home data is uncapped, feel free to leave it on UHD for a nice, crisp picture. This camera has motion detection and sends alerts in real-time to your phone via the Arenti app. You can also insert a micro-SD card to save images or recordings for viewing at a later time. (SD card is NOT included with this device).Overall, great product, easy to set up, excellent picture quality and I love the ability to control the camera’s direction from the app. Also has night vision to catch those pesky raccoons from getting into your garbage bins!NOTE: This is an indoor only security camera that cannot be placed outdoors. If you want to use this device to keep watch on the exterior of your property, this will have to be placed on a windowsill or stand facing outwards from the inside. This is how mine is set up and it works fantastic. This camera gives me a piece of mind in keeping my home secure, or for monitoring my pets when away on day trips. This is a must have product for anyone! Love it!
