Does what it is supposed to
The original one that came with our 8qt Instant Pot broke and we hadn’t bought a replacement because they were all pretty expensive (very few options for the 8qt when we looked). Fast forward a year and I decided to look again and found these for a fraction of the price. They fit perfectly and I like that we have an extra that will fit the 6 and 8 qt Instant Pots (we own both).
