    It’s beautiful
My niece loved it! Especially the color 💜

    Good product
I wanted a smaller sized Dutch Oven to bake gluten free sourdough bread (they don’t rise as much as regular bread). This size was perfect.

  3. peggy

    It is a heavy pot
I will use this pot for making soups.

Very happy with this beautiful Dutch oven!
Love it – the colour, the heaviness and the way it cooked the best French fries I have ever made!

If you don’t care about the name brand, and you understand that everything has limitations and needs to be treated with some level of care, this Dutch oven could be a great choice for you. I had wanted to buy a cast iron Dutch oven with an enamel coating for some time, but didn’t want to spend a huge amount on a quality brand, or wasteoney on an inferior unknown brand. I found this one on sale, and after doing some research, decided for the money (under 30 dollars) it was worth trying. I don’t regret my decision at all! I purchased the round, dark/bright blue heavy cast iron version over the lighter aluminum one and for me, that was the right choice. I use it at least once a week to make a chowder, a stew, or a sauce. It cooks evenly and is easy to clean. I do make sure after washing it to run my finger coated in olive oil around the rim of the lid and the rim of the pan where the exposed cast iron is so it won’t rust. I wash it by hand, and it looks like brand new every time. I have even cooked a chicken stew in it, and then put biscuits on top for a chicken pot pie spin, and cooked it in the oven, and it holds up to anything I have thrown at it. I can’t say whether it will hold up for years, but it is doing a great job so far, and I fully expect it to handle a wide variety of tasks for a long time. For the money paid, I cannot complain, and my son who loves to cook is planning to purchase one too. It has handled being on the stovetop boiling and simmering for a whole day, as well as baking in the oven at 375° with no issue. I think it is one of the better values in cookware I have found.

If you are thinking about purchasing a dutch oven but scared off by the cost – this pot is for you! I’ve wanted one for years and finally found this one to bake fresh bread at home. I LOVE IT!! My husband and I love everything I’ve made in it so far and it is such good quality. Easily as nice as ones double the price. Plus it looks lovely (I got the burgundy one). Highly recommend! Heats evenly. Stood up to 450 degrees on my very first country loaf which came out better than store bought and so pretty I almost didn’t want to cut it. Can’t wait to try more recipes in this dutch oven.

I love cooking sourdough and find this as my go to SD cooker, I heat up the pot and place the dough on the lid (with handle removed) and voila, my family loves the fresh bread. Be carfule, its addicting.

This is an attractive item that is light weight, comes clean easy, and works great.

Love this dutch oven. I have used it so much since I’ve gotten it. Easy to clean, heats up evenly and such a pretty pot. The only con is that the rim of the pot and cover isn’t enameled. It gets rusty if water sits on it. Be sure to dry it right away.
