Does the job if you like a higher chair
Early days yet but the experience was pretty good for this chair. I prefer to sit on a higher chair than an average office/task/gaming chair so this drafting one was right in the wheelhouse and goes great with a sit-stand desk. Instructions were fairly easy to follow but there was also a YouTube video for the assembly that made the process even easier and more simple – definitely would recommend but cannot comment on the longevity of the chair.

  2. Get the black one as it’s heavier and stands better. I had that one lost it, blah blah… silver one is way too light and flips a lot

    Uncomfortable
Not recommended! It’s hella uncomfortable and impossible to take it apart if, like me, decided to return. Not worth the time, money and the headache of Amazon customer support for return.

  3. H. Zhang

Exactly what we need, really like it.
If it can be electrically adjusted it though an app or I can see how high the seat is through an app, would be much better, but it does it’s job perfectly. No complains.

    Good quality chair
Easy to assemble. Good quality and comfortable.

Just what I was looking for
The chair was perfect for my standing desk. As I don’t have the luxury of having an adjustable desk, having a chair that adjusts did the trick. I love it!

    Seat mesh stitching is poor
The product seat mesh stitching came out within 1 week of use

I’ve struggled to find a good chair for me, I’m 6′-1″ and 230 lbs. I am pretty lean from working out a lot and this chair fits me perfectly. Previous chair gave me headaches, and the one before that had no back support. I need a good chair since I work at home for many hours each day.I’m giving this chair 5 stars because I think the current rating is a bit too low for such a great chair. Yes, it has annoying locks on the wheels. If they get bad, I’ll cut them off with a dremel and glue the locks in the unlocked position. The arm rests are a bit wobbly which is standard for the arm rest design and have not found any chairs that don’t move a little.I needed something that keeps me cool in the summer time, and the mesh back and seat do just that. I also like the back support, something that’s hard to find on a chair like this. It is tall, so I can also keep my standing desk in about the same spot and work standing up. The chair seems to be of good quality for this price point especially. There are few drafting chairs with a mesh seat and back, and of those that I’ve tried, this one is my favorite. I’m keeping this one.

Since I’m a designer, photographer and writer, after the morning’s workout, I sit at the MacBook Pro at a high desk. After a year of using a standard higher than normal kitchen table chair, my back was killing me. Although I wasn’t interested in paying over $200 for a chair, reviews for most inexpensive chairs were not recommending for over a couple of hours of sitting. Thankfully I took the chance on the NOUHAUS ErgoDraft chair and it’s the most comfortable chair I’ve sat in for work. Even after a long day. It’s easily adjustable, quality of the webbing has been great and for my 185 lb frame, everything stays at the level I set. No readjusting the height at all. Although, when it arrived, the box looked beat up, everything was fine inside. The instructions were clear and it took less than 20 minutes to put together because I was slow and methodical. One thing I noticed while putting it together was how well the pieces were made, and that was encouraging. The only complaint, and it’s small, that I have is the way the foot ring is secured to the post. It’s a little kludgy and doesn’t stay tight for long. So, for me, it just wobbles and moves around. Thankfully, it’s at its lowest setting so that doesn’t bother me. Great purchase. Great product. I approve.

After 1.5 years the chair suddenly crackI am trying to apply a guarantee, but I am not successfulNot recommended for long time use

  10. Amazon Customer

I have only owned this chair for a couple months and it is already breaking. The staples are coming undone with less than a month of use! Also, there are locks on the wheels that you constantly accidentally trigger and make the wheels lock up. Horrible product! Do not recommend! Spend a little more money on a product that is worth it!

Very good chair for the money. I purchased this for my 5’0 fiancee to use with a standing/variable height desk and it works just great for her. The chair isnt too big for her and she likes it quite a bit. The chair has plenty of adjustments that can be made, it is light and feels supportive. That said, there are a few missteps that prevent this chair from getting 5 stars all around.1. The casters. These feel cheap and they have a lock tab on the outside that is FAR too easy to activate accidently. This is the absolute worst feature of the chair that really needs to be addressed. Upgrade the wheels to be larger, sturdier/better build quality, and include a better lock mechanism ASAP. Extremely frustrating!2. The foot rest/ring will not stay in place. No matter what we do the foot rest/ring will eventually fall down and have to be set up again. My fiancee is petite so there really is no excuse for this to keep happening.3. The depth of the seat isn’t large enough for someone my size. I am 6’2 and when I sit on the chair, the seat depth is a bit short does not support my legs enough. The ergonomics are not quite there for me. The seat depth is fine, however, for my 5’0 fiancee.
