I’m not sure if this will help with hair growth but it is nice oil and has a pleasant smell. It’s good for both hair and skin so I have applied it to my scalp and face at night. It’s a very dense solid oil so needs to be warmed for it to spread easily

Here are her comments:I have 3B-3C combination curls. My hair is cut into a longer bob and I am about 75% grey. As my hair colour has changed, my hair’s texture and moisture levels have also changed. I am now combatting dry frizz and breakage on a daily basis even though I only use curl-safe products. Because of this, I only wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo once a month. The rest of the month I use a “no-poo” shampoo weekly and a co-wash if my hair needs mid-week do-over.Prior to this, I have never heard of batana oil, never mind tried it. I have to say, I like the results so far although I do find the scent a little overpowering after about an hour or so. I did manage to sleep with the oil applied to both hair and scalp and used a shower cap and tied a towel around my pillow to protect it. The next morning, the towel was still clean and the shower cap only needed a quick wash and rinse with some dish soap. I believe my hair and scalp held on to the oil and absorbed the bulk of it.Observations:- The oil is a thick, paste-like solid that liquefies with the warmth of your hands.- It is easy to put on as you simply run your coated hands into your hair, massaging the oil into your scalp.- As the oil heats up on your scalp, the natural scent of the palm nut from which the oil is extracted, grows more intense and, at first I found this quite pleasant.- I did not find the oil ran once it was on my scalp so I would say it absorbs quite easily into the skin.- It was also easy to coat my hair with the oil and, again, it did not seem to run or transfer to the towel I had on my shoulders.- My hands felt incredibly soft after applying the oil.- The oil washed out of my hair easily with just my usual no-poo followed by my regular conditioner.- My hair felt stronger and each strand felt thicker and less brittle. Likewise, my hair was softer and easier to manage with less frizz.- The natural scent of the oil still remained lightly in my hair after washing it, but I found it to be much more pleasant than during the treatment.As for an increase in hair growth, I will have to wait and see. As I only use the oil prior to washing my hair, I can only apply it once a week. If the oil increases hair growth, I believe it will take at least a year before I really notice it.To date, I do recommend this oil especially for those of us who are embracing our natural silvers.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Says in the ad this is cold pressed. Judging by the lack for correct wording on the product bottle, and the color, this is roasted not cold pressed.NOT what I was looking for, please DON’T put keywords in your add that are NOT ACCURATE to the product. I’m quite angry and wasted my money. This isn’t what i wanted.
