I love the challenge
The books had a great deal of variety and challenge for my Granddaughter. I liked the images throughout the book. I highly recommend this book.

Worked with Grade One Grad, Grand-daughter
She enjoyed the book and did pretty well with it. Some of the Math Puzzles were a stretch for her and me. She often suggested doing the work, so I consider it a success and believe that it added to her ability.

My 5 year old niece loves math, so she took to thr math problems right away. This book is fun for busy young minds!
Amy –
A great introduction to logic and puzzles! This workbook has puzzles and problems accesible to pre-writing kids and grows with them as they learn to read and write.

Absolutely brilliant. My children love this book and regularly want to use them. I have a 3, 5, 7 and 8 year old and they each have the book for their age group. They are learning lots and it’s meant we are interacting more as I work with them on it where they want help. I can’t recommend them enough.
Helen Hunter –
The book’s ideas and illustrations themselves are decent. I was disappointed with the quality of print production though given the cost. Some of the images appear blurry/fuzzy as if a lower resolution version has been printed. Many of the illustrations have inconsistent opacity, and are small with lots of details, so can be difficult to see/interpret in some activities.I was expecting some more challenging logic, so this may be too easy for the child depending on their age. For example, simple ‘connect the dots’ activities. Some of the activities that may be tricky for neurodivergent kids who have additional learning difficulties like dyslexia. A significant chunk of the book’s thickness is answers section. It’s an acceptable workbook, and my kid will use some of it, but it’s not very visually appealing nor challenging overall. I can purchase workbooks with almost identical activities in higher quality and full colour illustration from my local shop for half the price.I’m also not entirely sure what makes this particular book different from others. I’m not getting the ‘gritty’ angle. I actually thought there may have been some simple narratives or explanation on resilience and critical thinking skills, but there are cute rhymes at the beginning of each chapter. A disappointing purchase overall, but this is just our experience – glad others are getting more from it.

I have bought several workbooks to try to get some extra practice at home with writing and stuff like that, but my kid is never interested in them. This actually has lots of interesting puzzles that hold her attention.
