this product is good but , when i opened the box i saw cracked on wood base , i ignore it when i try to cook and i put it on the base it’s totally broken will you send me a replacement wooden base pls

Great for anything really, from fajitas to enchiladas or anything you want to keep hot. They are very well made and heavy, for serving purposes I love the wooden plates and handle covers for safety.

I enjoy using these. I purchased these over a year ago, we use them regularly and they are still look the same as the date they arrived. Very heavy, durable & well made. The ridged surface helps keep the food hot without continuing to cook it. The skillets are already perfectly preseasoned, which makes them very easy to clean; all I do is very light dish soap, a quick rinse under warm water, then immediately hand dry them & apply a light coat of oil using a paper towel.To get the sizzling sound & smoke, I place them empty in the oven at 350F while preparing Fajitas, then take them out carefully and place each on the included durable wooden tray, drop a little olive oil on the hot pan before placing the Fajitas.The handle mittens shown in my pictures did not come with the skillets & were purchased separately. You will need to purchase them if you are planning to serve these hot.

My husband purchased Mr. Bar-B-Q (2 Piece) Fajita (cast iron) Skillet for me as a gift. We have used it for fajitas, but managed to create oven grilled honey-glazed chicken breasts, oven and stovetop grilled steaks, hamburgers and YES, grilled cheese and tuna-melt sandwiches. The surface of the cast iron sealed in the rich seasoning favors, making any meat or vegetable tasteful. So far, this little cookware has added additional culinary skills to our palates. Clean up is a breeze with hot water, mild soap and a stainless steel or copper scouring pad. I hand wash and towel dry after each use; followed by resealing the cast iron lightly with olive oil for conditioning. Only disappointment, the skillet is rather small; useful for single serving. I love these skillets. I first used them for steak fajitas and my guests were impressed by the sizzling sound the food made. Next, after grilling steaks on my outdoor pit, I sautéed onions and mushrooms and served on skillets. Going to use my imagination and prepare other dishes such as scalloped and fried potatoes, shrimp scampi, grilled vegetables and anything else I want to served piping hot. I think the wood plates are sturdy and with care, should last a long time. Exceeds my expectations!

Pretty small to grill a fajita veggie plate. Should have just purchased a small cast iron skillet.But, for showing off, looks like a TexMex feast on the table. Works from grill to table with potholder & hot plate.
