This watch comes with a rubber band, magnetic USB charging cable and user guide. The band is separate and must be assembled. There is a protective film covering both the display and the back with the sensors. It is strongly recommended to fully charge the watch before first using. You must use your own powered 5V USB source such as computer, laptop, power bank or your own phone charger.The watch band is standard. It feels comfortable to wear. The display is 1.96″ and very responsive. Only one side button operates the watch. Long press to turn OFF, and while ON, long press until you see a menu from which you can shut down.This watch is very inexpensive, yet it contains all the similar features you would expect. The build quality seems solid. The technology on the watch is similar to all other watches I have tested, and the accuracy is limited by that. Sensing of activity and health is done through motion and light.While the watch is stand alone and can be used without the app, unfortunately, you will need to install the app if it is the first time using it, in order to sync the actual time and date. It is safe to accept all the permissions as they are required for the app to communicate with the watch. You can also update the firmware if a new one is found, change watch faces, sync contacts and more. There are many options you can only configure through the app, and you can only receive notifications on your watch if the app is running.For activity monitoring, the results are fairly inaccurate, though not necessarily the watch’s fault but the limited technology, With wrist only placement, it would be difficult to detect exact activity, as many sports and activities have similar patterns. The steps monitor tends to underestimate the amount of steps, and in some cases overestimate them. It seems extremely sensitive to specific arm swings. For brisk walking and wider arm swings, it seems to do a better job, though not entirely accurate. For normal walking with narrower swings, it will skips too many steps. When playing sports it will register way more steps. You cannot rely on the activity and steps data at all.You can connect the watch with your phone through Bluetooth for audio calls, allowing you to answer or make calls using the watch. Adding contacts can only be done through the app that you install on the phone. So far the quality of call is good, it was clear on both ends.The watch features health monitoring such as heart rate, which proved to be fairly accurate against my tests done with a trusted OMRON as well as the blood oxygen saturation SpO2 which was compared against an actual oxymeter from ToronTek, which is Health Canada approved device. When it comes to blood pressure monitoring, I urge you not to use this feature on ANY watch, as it is totally inaccurate. The only accurate ways to get blood pressure readings are either upper arm inflating cuffs or the traditional mercury method that was once common in a doctor’s office. Blood pressure readings on this watch will give you a false sense of accuracy if you do not have high blood pressure, as the watch always returns numbers in the optimal to normal range. But if, like me, you have high blood pressure, that is for instance in the 1400-145/90-100 range, it will provide wrong readings. In my case I got readings of 117/75 which is way off.For sleep monitoring it is using estimates from the sensors and motion and other readings during your sleep. It has done a fairly good job at determining my sleep time and awake times in the middle of the night. However, it is no replacement for a real sleep study done with medical grade equipment, probes and brainwave monitoring.Overall for the price it is a good watch that replaces traditional ones. I use it mainly as a digital watch and hands free calling, as well as heart rate and blood oxygen saturation monitoring. During intense movements its accuracy may be less, when it comes to either readings, so it is best to take them at rest. If you intend to buy this watch specifically for activity monitoring, you will be disappointed.

Malfunctioning watch.
This watch has started malfunctioning. The touch function doesn’t work. The app that you download on the phone doesn’t help resetting it. I have tried resetting it twice but it’s just a pain..This is not anywhere near a military watch! 😤Not happy with it at all

I recently bought this smartwatch as a backup and I’m really happy with it. It’s made of tough plastic and silicone and feels like it can take a beating. The watch is also waterproof and dustproof, so it’s good to go in any environment. It also has a big screen, long battery life, and can track your steps and other activities. I have had military watches which were all metal before, so a plastic one feels kind of out of place for me. This one with its ample battery life, and 3ATM water resistance, has its own plastic protective layer of thick plastic around the watch. The display feels large and the colors are vivid compared to many of the watches available. The touch responsiveness of the screen is sensitive, with even the slightest movement of your finger giving an appropriate responsive movement on the screen. Tapping is a quick, and getting used to this watch could was not a chore. The strap is thick plastic with ridges and double buckles that adds to the “military” persona of this “rugged” stylin gwatch. The strap is quite accommodating, and offers enough length and breadth for wider wrists.
