Best pan I have ever used
Using a saucier means no food sticking in corners and overcooking and makes any recipe requiring a whisk easier. A saucier is shorter and broader than the same sized pot, making it perfect for reducing sauces, stovetop braises, and absolutely anything on a gas stove.I have weak wrists and cannot use very heavy pans. Most pans that are light are cheaply made and have hot spots. The Made In 5 quart saucier is lightweight without compromising on quality. There are no hot spots and it has a helper handle. The finish is brushed so it looks clean after washing, instead of needing to be polished as well. The lid sits nicely.Follow the care instructions. This pan retains enough heat on medium to sear or brown, avoiding the temptation to overheat the pan. You might get a little rainbow haze even on medium, but it will come right off with Barkeeper’s Friend.I intend to buy more pans from this company.

    Very high Quality
You get what you pay for and this saucier is great. Hold heat extremely well and cleaning is a breeze especially when using bar keepers friend. What a great product!

    Well made!
Very well made saucier but just a bit big for my needs. Good for a family of 4+.

    Not bad quality
Most likely I’m spoiled by using 7-layers Viking stainless steel (back then it was manufactured in Belgium by I think Demeyere) and 5-layers All-Clad. The reason for me to buy Made In was curiosity and 3 quarts saucier shape. Because of the shape it works very well to “mantecare” risotto and short pasta. Heating is even. The vessel is heavy and solid. The main difference between Made In and All-Clad or Viking – the surface is not as smooth, there is some “roughness”. It makes it better for searing, but it gives you more trouble in cleaning. All-Clad and Viking take less effort to clean, but bottom gets discoloration immediately and require Bar Keepers Friend. Made In doesn’t show discoloration but requires more water and soap.Overall I like the shape and feel, but for cooking comfort and experience I would stick to 7-layers Belgian made Viking and 5-layers USA made All-Clad.UPDATE:After 3 months of heavy usage, the pan has consistently delivered excellent results. It’s become my go-to vessel for making risottos and short pasta. The 5-ply stainless steel construction ensures even heat distribution, preventing hotspots and allowing for precise cooking. The shape of the pan is perfect for stirring and reducing liquids, which is key for dishes like risotto or “creaming” the pasta sauce. Cleaning has been a breeze, and the pan still looks ok. Overall, I’m very satisfied with its durability and performance.

    Quite Good – Not Excellent
The starting point here is that the pan itself is very good & represents great value for a fully clad saucier compared to other alternatives. However, if anyone was basing an opinion on what they see on YouTube, they’d probably think it was better than it actually is – thanks to Made In aggressively sponsoring popular YouTube cooking channels. The reality though is that while the pan is fully clad, it’s very light & does have some hotspots so it doesn’t heat as evenly as heavier pans & you have to be careful not to burn the base of your sauce. Because you get some hotspots in the pan, it can also create some problems deglazing and later washing. Again, this is a very good pan, but it falls short of expectations if you’re basing a decision on sponsored videos or if you’re looking for a heavy, fully clad pan.

Edges were sharp & pan stained after first use
Was really excited to receive my Made In pans. Sadly was a bit disappointed in them. After my first use, despite following cleaning instructions, there was these small white spots that I could not remove. Also, the edges of the pan are extremely sharp.

It is not as I expected
It was not as I expected and I paid $269 for this product this is here after one use. I am going to return it soon.

  9. Sherry

This is my first purchase of a pricey pan – at nearly $200 a single pan, I sure am expecting it to be of good quality and want it to last more than just a couple of years. Also, my first time trying out this company Made In. I can’t comment about the longevity of it yet, only almost a month in, but so far I do like it a lot. Very versatile – I can make stir fry, pan grilled dishes, baked dishes and even soup due to its wonderful depth. The size is great addition for my small family of 3 for when I make batch food, and serves well for when I’m hosting a dinner with friends (usually 6-10). Also really like the lid being all stainless steel, not glass. It’s not light, but the weight isn’t heavy enough to cause strain to my wrist & lower back when lifting and washing. Pictures are of my first time using it. Was making stroganoff and this browned the meat (almost 2lbs) perfectly. No complains. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality all-stainless steel pan.

Parfaite pour la cuisine mais un peu lourde

  11. Amazon Kunde

Wirklich professionell. Da hat man Qualität in der Hand. Das macht nur Spaß

Spent a lot of time researching saucier pans and decided that this one looked to give the best value for money. Can’t really say how it compares to other brands but I’m absolutely loving the way it performs and handles. I’ll even admit that its replaced my beloved cast-iron pan for some dishes (which is saying something). In fact you might be surprised at just how many pans this thing will replace. No quibbles at all about the build quality. The weight feels nicely balanced (for me) and the heat transference makes it a joy to work with. Love it!

  13. RJH

This is a very nice looking and well constructed pot. It is superconductive and heats up very quickly. Water boils in minutes in it. The handle stays cool when cooking. I cook a lot and I appreciate having well-made equipment like this pot. Made In has a video that everyone should watch regarding how to cook and clean using stainless steel pots.
