Turn your grill into a short-order kitchen with this heavy-duty griddle. An 18 x 10 inch cooking surface provides ample space for everything from pancakes to pilaf. The Carbon Steel Griddle is perfect for professional, home or camp use. And like our cast iron cookware, these pans are seasoned with our proprietary vegetable oil formula, providing an easy release oil finish that improves with use. The heavy 12 gauge carbon steel maintains very low and very high temperatures, making the pan a highly effective and versatile cooking piece. Fits most camp stoves, outdoor cooking pits or even across two burners of your home stove. After cooking, clean with a stiff nylon brush and hot water. Using soap is not recommended, and harsh detergents should never be used. Towel dry immediately and apply a light coating of oil to utensil while it is still warm. Made in USA.
Constructed of 12 gauge carbon steel with steel riveted handles
Seasoned for a natural, easy release finish
Superior heat retention and even cooking
Measures 18-inch by 10-inch
Made in u.s.a
Customers say
Customers find the griddle plate easy to clean and non-stick enough for cooking eggs or fish without issue. It works well on an induction top and gas cooktop for optimal performance. They are happy with its size. However, some customers have issues with flatness and warping. They dislike its sensitivity to heat. There are mixed opinions on the build quality.

Bought for smashed burgers
Bought this to use on my outdoor bbq to make smash burgers. Works great and easy to clean.

A great griddle pan for home use too
This pan fits our 6-top gas range perfectly and is much easier to work with than the heavier cast iron griddles I’ve owned in the past. The pan holds heat well enough to make proper smash burgers and it’s non-stick enough that cooking eggs or fish works without issue, with a bit of care. The handles are a great addition for moving the pan out of the way for washing or cooling off. The pan cleans up easily given the tall lip and handles. I generally add water and bring it to a boil to lightly scrape off the stuck bits. With a light wipe in the sink when it cools down to remove any extra bits, I let it dry off and give it a light coating of oil with a clean cloth. If you find it loses its coating, you can add it back with the same basic process as a cast iron pan, though I haven’t had to do that yet (I avoid acidic foods, and clean it carefully). This pan would also be great for camping (though this one is not leaving my kitchen any time soon).

Cooking surface should be smooth
Pros: good handles; no channels to have to scrape fat out of; not terrible heavy; decent size.Cons: the cooking surface is quite rough, which means things are more likely to get caught in the roughness, and then it’s harder to clean. It’s seasoned and I’ll keep it seasoned so it’ll be okaaaay, but why not make the surface smooth? Very strange.

A must if you own bridgeable induction cooktop
Nice build and welds, nice finish, sits entirely and directly on the glass surface of my induction cooktop for optimal performance, unlike reversible plates that use a small rim to retain liquids on both sides, thus creating a gap with the cooktop.Meats sizzles as it should and I can make 6 small pancakes at a time so I’m a happy camper!

Brand new is warped in the middle, and spins on stove top.
Brand new, it is warped in the middle, and spins on the stove top. Do not buy this thinking you can use it for your stove top if you have a glass/ceramic and or induction stove top. I’ll keep it for my BBQ, but had I known, I would have bought one specifically for the BBQ for a quarter of the price. My intent on buying this one was for it to be for our new induction stove top. Other than the warp, it is good quality, just not flat.

Another great Lodge product
Bought for camp cooking but works equally well covering two burners on the gas cook top in the kitchen. Perfect!

Not flat, could be better.
Works fine on an induction top, but it is not perfectly flat, so the heat is uneven and it spins unless you put a cloth under it.

Great griddle
Great griddle. Heavy, none stick from the first use. No seasoning required.

My induction stovetop can combine two burners into one large one and that’s exactly what I hoped this pan would allow me to do.It conducts heat well and is perfect for making pancakes, burgers and any dish you would use multiple frying pans for. It’s also not too heavy, which means it doesn’t get insanely hot. My stovetop has shut itself off when my other cast iron pans get too hot. It’s well made and perfect for everyday use.

Tried many different grills and griddles on the gas stove top, but nothing beats a Lodge. I scored a super bargain with Amazon warehouse used like new option. Extremely satisfied with this purchase. Overall this fits the grill nicely, straddling fairly even over the two of the burners and has slightly angled sides but not too high. Heats evenly, easy to clean and has sturdy handles to grab onto. Downside for those unfamiliar with cast iron is the weight, however that is design perfection which helps to maintain steady heat once reaching desired temperature stays hot. Will not warp or deform while cooking, no worries for clad aluminum melt down, just nice old fashioned reliable quality!

Love cooking meat and burgers on this, absolutely perfect browning and crust. I’m sure this will outlast me and I love the fact I can put it on the stove top, bbq or camp fire.
I really did buy this –
This is fantastic for a grill or a fire pit, but I intended to have it as a cooktop accessory with a glass cooktop.Even though it’s high quality and solid, and works great on the grill, the bottom is bowed a little and it does not sit flat on a glass cooktop, so not safe or practical to use it on my cooktop.

I bought this to replace the “toy” griddle that came with my fancy gas stove. (The original had no heat retention, and the nonstick coating wore off in like a week — thanks LG! BUT this thing is great — just as good as their skillets. ‘A couple notes: the handles get HOT, so you’ll want potholders or silicon grippies. Also, the factory pre-season is NOT good enough to prevent sticking. I seasoned it myself about 3 times, until it turned a nice, uniform glossy black in color, and now the pancakes just slide around on it — every bit as good as a “non-stick” pan.
