Cleans cast iron but need wood spatula too
This brush helps to clean quite a bit of a cast iron skillet after cooking bacon but you still need a wood or teak spatula for the burnt pieces of bacon stuck to the skillet. The brush alone will not do the job unless maybe if you also use kosher salt at the same time for coarse scrubbing. But the brush and the wood spatula are a nice combo and does the job. I put a bit of hot water in a stil warm cast iron skillet, a drop or two of dish soap, use the brush first and then follow up with the teak spatula and once more with the brush. You don’t have to follow up with the brush but I like to. Dry off. Then I coat pan with canola oil and wipe off with paper towel or a lint-free cloth.

Great Light Duty Cast Iron Brush
This is a great brush for light clean up. It does the trick to clean your cast iron without the use of soap. If you have any heavy duty stuck on spots I do recommend you something differ. Like a hard scrubber or metal mesh scrubber. All in all great purchase, got it in 2020 and it’s still going strong!

Works as advertised but……
Thé brush’s effectiveness lived up to its purpose as a cleaning tool for caste iron but it snapped where the brush head meets the wooden handle. Disappointing of course but a more robust connection would make it a first class tool.

Very good product
The brush is well made and works very well for cleaning my cast iron pans. Price may be a bit higher than I would like, but build quality is there and I would recommend it.

Nice Brush.
I originally reviewed as bad as product bristles were separated BUT the brush once wet returned to form. Very soft on the skin if you have any skin conditions.

Worked great for 2 years, then it snapped in half.
I was happy with this brush until it broke after 2 years. The handle wasn’t attached to the brush head very well, so the wood snapped over time at the narrow part. I guess I will have to find something else as I don’t really want to buy another one of these after seeing how small the wood is where it attaches. It did last a while for lots of use though, but it could have been even better if it was thicker where it attaches.

Bristles are bent
Bristles are bent away from handle. Not like in picture.

I use this brush specifically for cleaning carbon steel, cast iron and stainless steel cookware immediately after cooking. All my pans are well seasoned, so normally cleaning them up right after cooking does not require a lot of scraping or force. With some warm water, this brush has just the right amount of stiffness to remove 99% of anything stuck on the pan.It is not fully stiff like a metal or bathtub nylon scrub brush, but I didn’t want that amount of stiffness anyway as that would probably just scrape the seasoning right off the pan.The stiffness and material of these bristles are just perfect for my use case. The bristles themselves clean up very easily with a little soap and water and the brush looks virtually brand new after every use.Seems to be durable and high quality and the wooden handle is attractive.Very pleased with this brush and it is highly recommended.

This was my second purchase of one of these. I broke my last one with some over enthusiastic scrubbing !Its better at cleaning than just a sponge but without the harshness of a scouring pad, I use mine mostly on my seasoned pans with just hot water and it always loosens off any food remains leaving the seasoned surface intact.

Un 10 para el vendedor, Stuffforthekitchen. Había un problema con la descripción del producto, me puse en contacto y lo resolvió rápidamente. Y me ofreció distintas soluciones. Sobre el producto que decir, Lodge es una marca muy conocida, no defrauda. Un buen cepillo que tiene pinta de que me durará mucho tiempo.
