Seasoning is cooking oil that has been baked onto the iron, forming a natural, easy-release finish for less sticking. CLEANING & CARE.

Lodge cast iron is simply the BEST!! I have one at home that I use for nearly everything. It cooks evenly and cleans like a dream! Just make sure after cleaning you season with canola oil every time. It will last you forever. I love this pan so much that I bought a second for our RV. Will not cook without Lodge.

I bought both 10″ and 12″. Cooks evenly for steaks and shipping was fast. Ordered Saturday night received Monday afternoon, unheard of. 12″ is a bit large for everyday cooking and a bit heavy when I’m trying to hold it to clean which simply means I need to work out more, not the pans fault. I prefer the 10.25 for most of my cooking.
