The Lodge Cast Iron 10.5-inch Square Grill pan and Red Silicone Hot Handle Holder is a multi-functional cookware that works wonders with slow-cooking recipes and all your favorite foods. This pre-seasoned grill pan works like a charm right out of the box. Cast iron creates superior heat retention, heats evenly, and loves a campfire, unlike flimsier pans. Saute, sear, fry, bake and stir fry to heart’s content in this generous 10.5-inch pan that features two handles for heavy lifting. While the pan comes pre-seasoned to prevent food from sticking, it works best when sprayed or lightly coated with vegetable oil before use. The Lodge seasoning procedure is a multiple-step process in which the seasoning oil is applied via an electrostatic spray system that coats the cookware, then it’s baked in commercial ovens at very high temperatures. This allows the oil to penetrate deeply into the pores of the iron. This seasoning process achieves a seasoned finish that would take many months of home use to achieve.
Pre-Seasoned and ready-to-use
Superior heat retention and even cooking
Two assist handles for heavy lifting
Use on all cooking surfaces, grills and campfires
Combo pack: 10.5-inch Square grill pan and red silicone hot handle holder
Customers say
Customers find the saute fry pan a good value for its cooking capacity, build quality, and performance. They say it sears meat beautifully and maintains heat evenly. Some are satisfied with the taste and heat retention. However, opinions differ on the weight and ease of cleaning.

Excellent pan
This pan is excellent… that’s a given. I’m just letting buyers know that they might want to skip the silicone handle. It sounds like a good idea and it certainly blocks the heat but it is a sloppy fit. So, ya it works but…One of the good things about this pan is the second handle that makes carrying a hot, heavy pan easy but the second handle gets hot as well. There should be a second silicone slip cover for the other end that would make carrying the hot pan a piece of cake.

Hefty little cast iron grill pan
Me likey for my steakyIt’s a lovely little grill pan. Puts nice marks on steaks and whatever else you want to grill. Retains heat well. Solid construction. Great pan. There was a small blemish in the coating of mine, but I can season it up.By the way, it’s kinda heavy.

Great pan at a great price
I actually have and use one of these pans on a regular basis. My parents have always shown interest in the pan so I bought this one for them as a Christmas present. This is the exact same Lodge grill pan that is sold elsewhere for a lot more money, and the fact that it comes with the silicone handle (I paid $12.99 for my silicone handle cover alone). This is a superior product at an amazing price. I don’t like to use my gas BBQ and being that I live alone this pan is just perfect for me to make great meals with some leftovers. I can do 4 big hamburgers in it, or two big porkchops just to give an idea on size. I also like grilling chicken breast and different kabobs in this pan.

Good pan heavy and sturdy
Nice thick heavy pan for grilling, it gets real hot and food tastes better in it than those non stick pans. Am still new to cast iron so have a bit trouble as food bits does sticks.Best technique to not let food stick is put food in oily hot pan and not touch or flip till food itself leaves the pan.If you try pulling food is stuck.Don’t use metal spatula I scraped off seasoning but it’s fine it’s building back up.I did re season before using as told by other review. To wash stuck bits I put warm water n boil it and then use brush to scrape food off. It’s imp to wash when it’s still warm not hot but warm

LOVING IT
LOVE IT!!! My wife and I bought this pan about a month ago and love everything about it!! We have to say that Yes this pan needs a bit more care and attention in maintaining due to the fact that its cast iron BUT its worth every second!! The pan works amazing and gives a different kind of flavour. The silicon handle does and amazing job. This is most definitely in my top 5 amazon purchase ever!

I recommend totally. Great product at a very good price
I recommend totally. Great product at a very good price. Beware, it is heavy… but then it is cast iron. We use it on a induction table to brown sous-vide cooking. Perfect results. Here is a free tip: I would recommend to use a Silicone Baking Mat between the vitroceramic hob and the cast iron pan for not to scratch the cooking top.

Worth its weight in steaks.
Solid heavy-duty pan, can’t say anything about cast iron that hasn’t been said before. It’s a hefty beast, could probably stop a bullet but for now it’s cooking fantastic steaks. Treat it right and your great grand children will be giving this pan to their great grand children.

Somewhat hard to clean
Great for searing steaks and chicken, I gave it a 5 for flavour because I could but I am not sure about flavour from cast iron. Relatively easy to clean if one does not burn the food. Overpriced as I found other similar pans later for much less. I have it though and I am happy with it.

It was packaged well and delivered ahead of expected date. Great addition to my kitchen and I would say, the taste of gourmet food from home.

We didn’t “need” one but I really wanted one. And this particular one because it has the grill ridges. Bonus handle piece too ::thumbs up:: When I can’t make it to the grill this is my go-to pan now. Grill marks and not having items directly over the heated surface is the way it needs to be done. I say not over direct heat because it has the ridges as compared to a flat cast iron skillet. Burgers in each are awesome I just prefer the grill over the flat.I really do my research because I prefer to buy things that will last and won’t have to be replaced which is why I chose this product. We already know the brand is well established and has been producing quality products since they began. I’ve come to find that their price range is definitely best quality for the dollar. I’m not a professional cook I’m a guy that has a wife and we both love to cook.I use this on the grill, over a fire, on the stovetop and finished in the oven. It’s cast iron. Just don’t microwave it lol.For people that are looking for cast iron products for the first time I highly suggest this product. And of course those of us that are a little more seasoned with cast iron products already know that cleaning and caring for these items is very important. There are the basic steps you need to do to keep your pan in the best condition. However, I’ve not used cast iron before and it showed signs of surface rust and after a little cleaning and seasoning it’s right back to new.Cast iron seems to be a little daunting when learning how to maintain them but it’s more than simple once you have done it once or twice. So I highly suggest this product.

I don’t suppose this is how they are meant to arrive but mine did.Free return option via UPS drop-off is 6 miles away with no public transport to that destination.
