The Lodge Cast Iron 10.25-inch Skillet and Red Silicone Hot Handle Holder is a multi-functional cookware that works wonders with slow-cooking recipes and all your favorite foods. This pre-seasoned Skillet works like a charm right out of the box. Pancakes, eggs, and bacon somehow taste extra hearty when cooked in a heavy cast-iron skillet. Cast iron creates superior heat retention, heats evenly, and loves a campfire, unlike flimsier pans. Fry up a mess of catfish, roast a chicken, or bake an apple crisp in this generous 10.25-inch pan that features two handles for heavy lifting, and two subtle side lips for pouring. While the skillet comes pre-seasoned to prevent food from sticking, it works best when sprayed or lightly coated with vegetable oil before use. The Lodge seasoning procedure is a multiple-step process in which the seasoning oil is applied via an electrostatic spray system that coats the cookware, then it’s baked in commercial ovens at very high temperatures.
Pre-Seasoned and ready-to-use; No synthetic coatings or chemicals
Superior heat retention and even cooking
Two assist handles for heavy lifting
Use on all cooking surfaces, grills and campfires
Combo pack: 10.25-inch Skillet and red silicone hot handle holder

    Impressive Quality and Amazing Results
I recently purchased this cast iron skillet, and I’m impressed with its good quality – pretty heavy! It has made a noticeable difference in the flavor and texture of the food. So far, we’ve used it for steak, salmon, shrimp, and lamb, and everything turned out better than a regular skillet. Highly recommend it!

The best day-to-day pan out there! Even heat, non-stick, lasts forever, great with metal spatulas, etc.
I had my last Lodge skillet for over a decade before it was lost during a move. That was unfortunate – because after a decade of heavy use it was in just as good shape as the day I got it.I’m always amazed when I talk to other avid cooks that spend tons of money on fragile non-stick cookware for day-to-day use. Sure, there are some places where your teflon-style non-stick cookware is great – but given how easily food released from the properly seasoned cast-iron, I rarely use mine. For example, I have some really high-end stainless pans from All Clad. If I tried to cook an egg in one of these stainless steel pans, the only possibility would be scrambled, and even then a solid layer of egg would be stuck in the pan requiring hard scrubbing later on. With the cast-iron it’s not a problem – I can cook eggs however I like them, and they slide out of the pan. Same goes for fish!As long as you properly clean and oil the pan after each use (which is easy given that almost everything washes off quickly), you’ll be amazed at the even heat and non-stick properties. It’s definitely my go-to day-to-day cookware, and it’ll outlast me.

Good skillet for a great price.
I’ve had this skillet for a few months now. I use it daily to prepare my breakfast and dinner. It is great for eggs (and a lot of other stuff). Pan cakes never stick. I only have problems cooking bacon in it. I get great results washing it after each use and wipe it with canola oil (as the manual says) and heating it for a minute or so. Once the food starts sticking, I have to scrub it with steel wool and re-season. Unlike my other skillet from a different brand the seasoning doesn’t change the look of the skillet (My other skillet gets a glaze after the seasoning).

    Cast iron frying pan
Excellent quality. As described in Amazon ..highly recommend this product.

    Great pan!
I was having problems with regular frying pans. They were overheating the meat, even on low heat, and causing burning on chicken and steak. I’ve used this cast iron pan for one week now on chicken, fish, and steak, and I’ve had no problems with burning. Everything cooks really well in normal timings (I don’t have to cook the meat longer on low heat, as I did with regular pans).I seasoned my pan with oil a couple times before using it and that makes it very easy to clean after with just water and a plastic scouring pad (no soap required). I dry the washing water with a paper towel and then add some oil, wipe the oil to cover the surface, and then put it away. It’s a bit heavy, but the results are amazing so I don’t mind the extra weight.

Very good quality and construction – we are very pleased
Very good quality and construction – we are very pleased.I previously returned a Logostina Cast Iron fry pan to my local store as it was heaved in the middle. If you add oil & eggs they would flow to the outer wall. (all the ones on the shelf in the store had the same flaw)I then research a lot of pans, and was pleased when I received my Lodge cast iron fry pan (especially without seeing it). Perfectly flat, cooks as cast iron should. We’ve only had it a couple weeks, but have successfully cooked schnitzel, an omelet, grilled cheese & fried rice. We plan to use it in the oven, over the stove, bbq, and cook over the fire while camping. My next purchase is a cast iron dutch oven, and I will definitely buy it from Lodge. Really happy that it is made in USA & as stated on their website: “All our Seasoned Cast Iron and our Seasoned Carbon Steel products are manufactured in the USA and always will be”. (vs China… and many question China made cast iron could possibly containing lead).

One of the best pans you’ll ever own.
It’s very well made and will last longer than you if taken care of. This pan can do it all from eggs and bacon to brownies and homemade pizza. Washing it is simple and easy. Just look up how to take care of cast iron. highly recommended purchase to anyone who cooks.

Súper sartén, no se le pega nada y lo mejor es que no es tóxico como otros.

First and foremost, the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet is made with exceptional quality. Lodge has been making cast iron cookware for over 120 years, and their expertise is evident in the durability and craftsmanship of this skillet. The 12-inch size is perfect for cooking a variety of dishes, from sautéing vegetables to searing steaks. One of the standout features of this skillet is the red silicone hot handle holder. This addition is a game changer when it comes to handling the skillet, as it provides a safe and comfortable grip, even when the skillet is hot. The silicone handle also adds a pop of color to the classic black cast iron, making it an attractive addition to any kitchen.Another benefit of cast iron cookware is its natural non-stick surface, which only gets better with use. With proper seasoning, this skillet becomes a reliable and versatile tool for cooking. It can even be used on the stovetop, oven, grill, or campfire, making it a great option for those who enjoy cooking outdoors. In terms of maintenance, the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet is easy to clean and care for. After use, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth or brush, dry it thoroughly, and apply a light layer of oil to maintain its non-stick surface.Overall, I highly recommend the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet with Red Silicone Hot Handle Holder, 12-inch for anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile, and attractive cookware option. Its durability, functionality, and design make it a worthwhile investment for any home cook.

If you like cast iron you know all about the issues some have with Lodge. I think the seasoning is better with this pan than one a bought many years ago. I still do a seasoning and began using it with the beauty of stick free Now I will say that I have a Lodge small griddle that had some bumps and well I never really understood how to season cast iron in the past so it was not really all that good. So I sanded it down to remove both the bumps and the defective seasoning that I did and reseasoned it and found that it is working well now. Not really proof that smooth is better than the dimpled ones but if that is your preference it is not all that hard to make them smooth and well it seems to be standard practice to season pan even it comes already done. I like that it is made in the USA and well the pans are nice for the price. I think that I now have enough information about cast that was not really easily available years ago so after one of my HexClad pans started to delaminate I started using the cast iron pan of close to the same size. It worked well and I think if you use it properly it is easy to clean and not really all that much effort. Plus if you want to use metal in it well no problem. HexClad said you can use metal but I am not going to risk it. I think I will always have some stick free pans but I know I will have this pan for life.

Nach anfänglicher Skepsis hat sich die Pfanne zur absoluten Lieblingsofanne entwickelt. Je öfter man sie benutzt umso besser wird sie.
