I love this skillet. It takes a bit more care than the usual pan, but if you take a few simple steps it really is a great pan. I was surprised at how nonstick it is! I don’t even use my nonstick pan anymore to cook eggs cos this just works so well and I’m always excited to use it. It feels sturdy and even though I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks I’m sure it’ll last me a long time! And of course great for searing meat and to finish cooling food in the oven. Very versatile and totally recommend it 🙂

Really nice and unique pan. It does come pre-seasoned but would recommend adding a few coats of your own seasoning before using it. Like all new cast iron pans, surface is a little rough, if you want it nice and smooth, sand it down but I find with use it does smooth out over time.

Great piece of iron, treat it right, get a couple of extra seasonings in (lightly rub with neutral oil, upside down in oven at 450 for 45 minutes, over a baking sheet) and it’s practically non-stick. Holds heat very well, amazing for roasting vegetables in the oven, searing meat on the stovetop. The best pan I’ve ever owned.
