The Lodge Logic Round 10-1/4-Inch Grill Pan is a wonderful addition to any kitchen or campsite. The deep ridges on the bottom of this heavy cast-iron skillet make it perfect for grilling steaks, chicken, hamburgers or even shrimp. The ridges help to sear the food while keeping it above the pan grease for lower fat cooking. Cast-iron creates superior heat retention, browning your meat evening while leaving them moist and delicious. This grill pan features a heavy-duty handle with a notch that allows for hanging, and two side lips for pouring off grease or liquids. While the pan comes pre-seasoned to keep food from sticking, it works best when sprayed or lightly coated with olive or vegetable oil. Wipe clean with water and a sponge, then apply oil before storing. This pan will last for generation.

    Good substitute for a BBQ
    Great pan. I also have the 10-inch flat bottom version, and a lid that fit them both, and they stack nicely.Needs quite a bit of preheat to get the ridges nice and toasty. Great hot dogs, grilled cheese, steak, asparagus.Cleaning can be tricky but it’s not rocket science. A bit of water and dense hard bristle brush does the job just fine.All cast iron needs care for best results. I wipe mine with a bit of canola oil after cleaning every time and I haven’t had any problems.

    Worthy Alternative
    I had grown tired of using my fold down electric grill and was wanting something that was easier to use and where I could control the heat. The shape allows you to use a lid as well if needed. We made pork chops the other night and they were amazingly tasty and tender. If you follow the directions with cleaning and oiling the clean up afterwards is fine.

    Excelente parrilla, solo es necesario seguir las instrucciones que vienen para evitar que se oxide. Básicamente lavar, secar y aceitar (aceite comestible).

    Die Pfanne ist ideal zum Steak braten, denn die Pfanne wird sehr gleichmäßig heiß!Gusseisenpfannen sind schwer und werden nicht in die Spülmaschine gegeben .Und auch nicht von Hand gespült.Vor dem ersten Gebrauch wird die Pfanne eingebrannt . Und nach jedem Gebrauch saubergemacht.Am besten mit dem Lodge Pfannenschaber, und mit Küchenkrepp.

    Piccola sbavatura di metallo nella rifinitura della padella vicino all’asola opposta al manico, mi aspettavo di più da un prodotto USA molto pubblicizzato. Il problema non inficia il suo utilizzo. Scatola di cartone esterna ed imballaggio inesistente, il contenuto di è mosso al punto di sfondare la scatola col manico.

    Una sartén de hierro, pesa la vida y hay que tener cuidado con la encimera y el suelo porque como se caiga parte lo que pille por delante. La uso solo para carnes, que una sartén normal de aluminio cuece porque no alcanza tanta temperatura. Al ser de hierro se puede meter en el horno y todo lo que quieras. Eso sí, hay que limpiarla y secarla bien (para que no se oxide) y untarle aceite después de cada uso para mantenerla hidratada porque no lleva ningún tipo de antidherente.
