Best Smash Burger Press !
The best one I have used bar none ! This is my 3rd press and its the best I’ve used because of that 1/2″ lip ! All other can’t compare as the lip keeps the edges together without falling apart so you get a nicely shaped burger.

Nicely pre seasoned and a hefty, solid build. No mystery chemical coatings or questionable metals to poison my food. Heats up nicely with my cast iron pan and also doubles as a splash guard.

Fonctionne très bien pour faire des smash burger. Cependant, il n’est pas “flush”, la pièce à un rebord qui fait en sorte qu’on ne peut pas avoir une boulette plus petite que 1/4-3/8″ d’épaisseur. Ça aide à produire un résultat constant, mais pas d’écraser la boulette à sa limite.

I’m very happy with this product. I make burgers into 1/3 lb balls and smush them flat with a piece of parchment to keep the press clean.It should be noted this is for making more traditional burgers not thin smash burgers as there is some depth to the press and thickness to the patty after.

There’s a lip on it so it limits the thinness and steams the burger. It’s not flat. Also, the handle gets super hot. Don’t buy.

Profissionalmente ou por hobby, utensílio essencial e de ótima qualidade pra fazer hamburguer artesanal. Mas ATENÇÃO: ele tem uma borda que deixa a superfície de contato com o hamburguer a 1 cm da chapa… então, SÓ SERVE PARA PRENSAR HAMBURGUERES COM PELO MENOS 1,5 CM DE ALTURA (menos que isso, sequer encostará na carne). Como é de ferro fundido, importante lavar a cada uso, secar rapidamente ao fogo, e após, untar levemente com um pouco de óleo de cozinha ou azeite antes de guardar (senão enferruja). Recomendo, com certeza!

The Lodge cast iron burger press is super easy to use and clean. It is pre-seasoned. I don’t make a burger now without it. I shape the ground meat into a meatball, place it on a sizzling hot grill, and then press down on the Lodge burger press. The height of the edge around the burger press ensures a perfect smash burger every time. Flip burger just once when the down side is charred at edges. Top with thick slice cheese if you want. It melts right over the burger while second side cooks. The price is excellent for Lodge – top quality. The Lodge burger press is so easy to use, I don’t make regular burgers anymore. Smash burgers are crave worthy scrumptious with yummy charred edges.
