A lot of activities to play
My toddler LOVES this!! There are so many fun games and videos for him to play and watch. He paints, colours, does alphabet and number games and then watches educational videos about shapes or listens to age appropriate music. Amazing purchase. I got it when it was on for $99 so well with it. Battery isn’t super great but we can get about 5-6 play hours out of it

Nice kids tablet
It is nice that the tablet has limited access so the kids cannot access internet (unless approved by parents) websites or install the programs themselves. The tablet survived several drops and works fine. Looks rigid. There are some games pre-installed but not many. The biggest disadvantage: apps are pretty expensive and are limited in number. What I am afraid of that LeapFrog can stop supporting for the tablet and you will not be able to install new apps.

Educational
As a parent who limits screen time, I was hesitant to buy a tablet for my child. Understanding that portable devices are part of our culture, I decided to purchase this as a fun introduction into electronics. Easy to use and personalized. Educational games a plenty

quite disappointing
Device is very slow, even after giving it a week to do all the updates, the device is still very slow and crashes. It is almost unusable. Also it is very limited in how much free content the kids can use. You have to subscribe to leapfrog academy (first 3 months free and then don’t forget to cancel!) just to get a handful of useful apps for the kids to play on. This device won’t let you access the google play store and download other apps or make use of the physical device in any other way. Kids stopped playing with it in 2 weeks and they prefer the regular tablet or PC.

On a budget tablet?
(LOOKING TO BUY??? READ UNTIL THE END)When I had first purchased the leapfrog academy within the first few days it just stopped working, it wouldn’t charge or turn on. After a few days of it being plugged in it just turned on and it’s been on ever sinceIf you’re looking for a tablet that your kids won’t break then this is for you. It’s been dropped off counters, dressers and down the stairs 🤦🏻♀️ and it’s still kicking.I should note that this tablet CANNOT download mainstream apps (YouTube, Nextflix, Disney Plus) but with going through the Amazon AppStore we were able to find apps that would let you access them. The battery lasts (at 100%) anywhere from 2hrs-4hrs or more if lucky with constant use. I also noticed it’s a little slow at times depending on what you’re doing, not all the time but with bigger webpages. It’s not bad for the price, but if you’re looking for a tablet with more of a “AppStore” and more mainstream functions then I suggest buying an iPad.Leapfrog games are super educational and even tho it’s not a highend tablet my sons still able to have fun and watch YouTube videos (which was the initial reason for buying)The case comes off for easy cleaning which has a sturdy stand, the speakers are loud & it also has a 3.5mm Jack for headphones.Overall it’s not bad, but it’s not great. It functions normally so if you aren’t picky and need your kids to stop taking your phone and are on a budget this is for you.

Looks Good can be Challenging
An excellent product in its own right. If you child is not fluent with interactive APPS there will be a steep learning curve. Lots of options. Excellent free APP base. Extra apps available for purchase. Would recommend 4+.

Christmas gift
From I know my granddaughter loves it. She is only two years old and she already can play games for her age. I tough she will be too young for this tablet but not at all. Very durable so not too much worry that will accidentally fell off

This leapfrog leap pad does what it should. Long lasting battery life= long lasting fun and learning. It was very easy to set up. Parent control. It has decent amount of storage. My 4 year old son loves it. It has different apps and also demos. You have the option to buy games on the leapfrog app store. Also you can purchase leapfrog academy for $30 a year. Definitely worth it as it teaches your child from pre-k to grade 12. You can set what school level there at and it shows what games they can play. Pre-k games are like matching colors and shapes, counting, tracing letters and ect. They also can watch videos. More fun for a visual learner with counting it shows the numbers while they count. It has perfect brightness and sound. It is freeze resistant depending on the wifi connection. It’s just as described. It doesn’t come with headphones. Also it doesn’t have Bluetooth. But I recommend it has a lot for the price. Definitely worth it for learning fun and definitely worth buying the leapfrog academy. You and your child will love it, You won’t be disappointed 😍
