Easy setup and easy to read
We bought this for my mother-in-law who has dementia. She can read this from a distance. Clear large text. She now looks at it often to see what day and time it is. Also to find out the date. Very helpful. Looks nice as well.

I purchased this clock for my aged 95 year old mother. This clock which displays not only the time also shows the day, date and rime of day (morning/afternoon/evening) which has proven invaluable to her. The clock was easily programmed plus has a large display which is easily read.Great purchase which is assisting in her independence.

Difficult to set up
The adjustment surfaces on the back of the device are flat, black and almost indistinguishable from the rest of the surface. Very difficult to set up because this. My unit arrived 14 minutes ahead of correct time. I contacted help line person who was helpful but discovered the unit as defective.I then ordered a different unit that is set up by physically moving tiles- much better design

If you ever forget what day it is, you need one of these.
I bought 2 x 8” clocks. One for me: one for an 88 year-old friend. We are both happy with a clock that tells us the time of day, WHEN that time is (I.e.: before dawn, afternoon, etc.) all in big letters that are easy too see and read. This clock is electric and either hangs on the wall or sits on a table. Certainly, all seniors should have one!

When you need to give medications, and it’s more efficient to put pills in daily pill holders for a week, this clock is essential. It keeps your customers on track to NOT over medicated or miss. Simple solutions work best and that’s what this is.It’s large enough to see from 20’ away. You obviously can see the time farther because the numbers are larger, but you need to be able to tell what DAY OF THE WEEK it is. That matches up with the pill container for the patients. It’s great that it also has the calendar date, which also one of top 3 questions asked. #1 – Day of the Week, #2 – Calendar Date, #3 – Did I take my pills?

Die Demenzuhr an sich ist schon sehr gut und hilft Demenzkranken ein Stück ihre zeitliche Selbstständigkeit mit der Kalenderanzeige zu behalten.Leider war die Bedienung nur in Englisch und zum Stromanschluß musste ich noch einen Adapter von engischen Stecker auf europäische Schukosteckdose erwerben.Nach der zweiten Normalzeitumstellung ging das chinesische Produkt leider irgendwo im elektronischen Gehirn kaputt. Die Uhr zeigte willkürlich verrückte Zeiten, unpassende Kalenderangaben etc. und lässt sich nicht mehr einstellen.Fazit. Nach 16 Monaten guter Funktion kaputt. Keine Empfehlung zum Kauf. Es gibt etwas teurere gleich Uhren und mit Fernbedienung.
