Not what I expected. Took me a while to work out how I was meant to use it as there isn’t any guidance. Most of my vegetables went most of the way through then got stuck, so I ended up having to push them the rest of the way through without hurting myself. Was quicker to just chop stuff in the end!

This is a sturdy item with 4 inter-changable blades for different functions. Its great for storage as each blade sits inside the other. The apple corer and quarterer works brilliantly, but I’m puzzled how you use the slicer. What is the lid (or base) for?Which way do you place the slicer? Do you just push it down on the fruit or veg?Is it supposed to sit on a dish and you force the vegetables through? If so, it’s slightly awkward. If anyone knows the technique please let me know because the blades are good and sharp, it’s just that I cant work out how to use it most efficiently.There are no instructions, and I’ve searched the internet and can’t find anything there either so for this I can only mark for the fact that it cuts. Not sure if this will save time.If the manufacturer wants to advise, that would be great.

Kitchen Craft Healthy Heating 4 in 1 Fruit and Vegetable Slicer is a great kitchen aid to have especially if like me you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I love how the neatness of each section as they clip together into a spiral container, with the aid of the handle slips onto each section with a quick click of the fitting of the handle and slicer section.I found it works quickly and easily and with the aid of the holder, makes it very comfortable to use. The main reason I do like it is the fact that whatever fruit or vegetable I use, each slice is neat and similar in size and shape. Harder vegetables do cut in very neat slices though softer fruit can be very similar though some changes in size can be noticed.I like the fact it can be washed in the dishwasher and because each section can be separated means each section is washed perfectly. When I store the slicer I build up the sections and use the lid provided to cover the sharp edge, only one side of the blades are sharpened. Which is especially important if stored in a cupboard with other items.KitchenCraft Healthy Eating 4-in-1 Fruit and Vegetable Slicer is a handy gadget to have as it sliced my fruit and vegetables to nice neat slices which is great for appearance’s sake plus they are a great size for comfortable eating. I do like this especially for chopping the fruit and vegetables for lunch boxes plus the speed and no fuss way it works makes this ideal to have close at hand. I find it very useful when chopping up a mixture of vegetables especially for soup etc.This is such a handy kitchen gadget to have and one I know will be used in a daily business.Happy to recommend.
