Son wor this for 4 days. It doesn’t track sleep properly at all. Says he slept 4 hours most nites and it doesn’t accurately count steps at all. Definitely a cute watch but not accurate for anything else!!!! Daughter has a different watch by same company (uses the same appt but different from name brand on Amazon) and same issues. My advice – Buy a different cheapie vs this one… it’s not great.

A Good Kids Smart Watch (10-15) with Some Flaws to Keep in Mind
Getting kids focused early on activity, health and fitness is a good thing. This might well be the tool that helps do that for your youngster.It comes with VERY thorough, illustrated instructions, a custom USB-A magnetic charge cable, a set of extra staps and the watch itself (see photo). Functionally, it focuses on the health/exercise monitoring of a Fitness Tracker with and connects via Bluetooth with a cell phone app. In both Apple and Android environments it can play music, set wrist alarms or take photos with the phone’s camera. Although the app is needed for setup, most watch functions do not appear to require a constant connection to a smartphone.While the instructions briefly treat the subject of its IP68 rating, there’s more to the story. This is an international Intrusion Protection standard. The 6 says that the case protects against dust for up to 8 hours The second digit 8 says it can be safely immersed in water up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) in depth. In short, pretty close to kid-proof.In order to meet this standard, the watch case can’t have a normal charging port. That would breach the case integrity. Higher end watches use a small internal coil that allows wireless charging. Instead, this one has a custom magnetic charge cable that aligns charge pins on the bottom of the watch. As long as this one of a kind cable works, your kid is good. If it’s lost or damaged, you won’t be able to get another one at your local big box store. Back to the manufacturer for you I’m afraid.From what I can tell, the watch straps are also a custom design. The plastic attachment points on the watch snap onto the flexible straps. Once again, if your child decides they want a new look or outgrow it, only the manufacturer can help you. Ordinary watch bands or even custom ones for fitness trackers or smartwatches won’t fit. Should the plastic attachment points on the watch case break, you’re out of luck.This watch will require some adult supervision to set up and maintain. Obviously, reading and grasp of numbers is required. Once completed, a 10-15 year old should be able to use it independently with just a bit of tutoring. Even so. I have no doubt they will find it a fascinating window into their daily fitness and activity cycle. Highly recommended.
