  1. Mark Miller

lots of amazing information to learn from
    Great Book,

  2. Joe

    Great book.
Jayson Lowe and Richard Canfield wrote this book perfectly. Makes you think there’s many ways of keeping your hard earned cash away from the government taking more than it’s already doing. Even better, attend one of their sessions in person where they will explain the process even further and you’ll leave with great information that you can make a great educational decision.

  3. DaddinitUp

The case study is valuable knowledge!
Each book continuously re-iterates the fact that switching to the IBC mindset and getting the “Becoming your own Banker” book is a valuable resource that every household should get! The best part about this book is the case study and Henry’s life story which should resonate with EVERY person, especially EVERY CANADIAN! I had hoped that there would be more examples of other individuals (hypothetical if need be) with whom IBC has helped elevate their financial freedom, rather than marketing profusely for giving them a call. All in all it’s a great book and i’d read the series in reverse order to get the best out of the whole point which they are trying to drive home.

    Read It Now
I must say, as a practicing tax professional, I was skeptical at the title and content of this book. I finished the book in one-go. The key of the novel is not to transform you into a tax accountant, but raise awareness for the present and future tax implications that could impact you or your children. The book did a great job at exposing the pitfall in common tax concepts (like RRSP, RRIF, withholding tax, etc) that I have explained to clients. Regardless if you’re a tax professional or the average guy, this book is worth at least a few hours of your undivided attention.

  5. Kedisha Allen

    Unexpected
Definitely NOT what I expected. It was promptly returned.

  6. John Puderak

    Nothing new here
The book spends a lot of time on the writers history and complaining about taxes. Biggest recommendations are to buy life insurance and incorporate. Not a useful book at all.

  7. Cam D.

    Whole life promo…beware
Basically an advertisement for whole life insurance. Only paid $3.50 which is about $3 too much.

  8. C. Wallace

We must be aware of where we place our savings because we run the risk of it not being there when needed most of put into the wrong vehicle.
