    make a wonderful gift!
Bought this for a gift, and it is well-liked; parents say it works great and so far have had no complaints about it. Price was good too.

    Works great, but low volume
Works great but volume does not go very loud… it has a warning system if it thinks a baby is crying but doesn’t always go off when you’d like it to. So I find not being able to turn the volume up a problem if your not starring at the screen all the time.

    Clear day&night vision
Cute monitor set and the reason I chose this set is the 2k resolution, I can see baby clearly in night vision without any light in his roomSimple and easy to set up, plug in and ready to use, no need wi-fi which is great for our upcoming travel trips1 star took off because the screen display takes long to charge and it seem like it only charges when power on since I usually power off when not in use and thought it would be charged faster, couple hours later when I turn it on, still charging 😕

Durable, Small Screen, no internet required, Monitor stops charging after 7-8 months.
This Kawa took a little getting used to because we previously had the Hubble Nursery camera that did have a larger screen, a better quality picture and more features but didn’t even last 6 months.I am going to leave the rest of my review below but I want to update because we did love this baby monitor but have changed our minds because we have now gone through 2 of them in 18 months. The problem is the same both times, the monitor starts having issues with charging due to the connector on the monitor coming a bit loose after about 7 or 8 months until it stops charging completely. Very disappointing as we loved it in every other way but will not be buying another one and will move to a different brand now. Because of this, we are changing our rating from 5 to 3 stars. It works well but will only last for a 6-9 month period when used everyday and I would recommend only for travel and it may last your for several years used sparingly. My wife did not like the Kawa initially because she was used to the Hubble features but she soon grew to appreciate the many strengths of this baby camera. Yes the features are limited, but everything is there that we need, sound alert, two way sound and voice, good night vision and it is super sturdy. We have twins and they both have grabbed and thrown down quite hard both the camera and viewing unit on multiple occasions without any damage to either. Also one of the best features is that it does not require an internet connection. The base communicates with the camera over long distances and through many walls without need of internet. This is great for us as we travel to friends and family frequently and it is just so convenient to just set them up with no worries about passwords or loss of power. This is no high end unit but for what you pay and for what you get, I have not seen better. I love that we can count on it to work all the time and don’t have to be worried if the twins get their hands on it. Even if you want a better picture with more features, this is an amazing back up if nothing else but for us, it is our main and will remain that way. 5 stars for quality for money.

    Poor Battery
We’ve used this for about 4 months. The battery barely stays alive for an hour before it needs to be recharged. Pathetic! No warranty or option to return this to seller. Stay away from this product.

Easy to set up, battery life is very good. You can zoom in on image and change volume. Worked well for us for a year so far.

I highly recommend this monitor. Easy to use, convenient to clip to your waist, the picture is extremely sharp and clear, beast of all was the cost . No need to buy some overpriced monitor that does exactly the same thing. I’m constantly moving it around to go from different rooms, but I purchased a separate clamp that makes it easy to clamp to playpen or to different items that baby is in (swing, floor toys). You will certainly be happy and it doesn’t require WiFi which is a safety feature other products require.

Super useful for when baby’s taking a nap . Easy to set up and picture quality is good ! The sound is okay but not bad .

  9. Customer Review

The overriding ease of use factor with this baby monitor is for me the most useful feature. It’s easy to establish a connection without having to piggyback onto an existing Wi-Fi network. The monitor head unit is battery powered and the battery lasts a fair amount of time, easily throughout the night because the screen turns off when it’s not activated by movement or sound. The camera unit needs to be powered by any micro-USB connector, one is included but you can use any you have. Oddly the camera is powered by a micro-USB whereas the screen head-unit is powered by USB-C. You’d think there’d be some commonality between the two, but oddly not. It’s so easy to set up and the transmission distance was easily capable of reaching every room in our property and even out to the garage. Literally 20 seconds out of the box and you’re away. You just have to set the date and time. Everything else just works out of the box. It’s a capable little device. There are areas that could be improved a little. The screen is a little washed out in terms of colour, but honestly it’s a baby monitor, not a national broadcast quality camera. For it’s intended use it’s perfectly fine. The sound pickup is a little garbled but again, it’s a baby monitor, not an audio studio … it’s fine for hearing your infant stirring in the night. There are other features such as voice transmission and tunes to play at the camera end but honestly I don’t really see the point in them … but they’re there in case you do. The user interface is a little clunky but ten minutes exploring it and setting the device up as you want it is time well spent. I didn’t need to refer to the manual because it’s fairly self explanatory. The units themselves are well made and relatively small. Everything feels well put together. Overall it feels a well made set with some decent features and it works well enough. The sense of security and reassurance these things give you is not to be underestimated. At heart, all parents are worrisome creatures and these offer a simple way to alleviate that concern. They are not a replacement for vigilance, they just add another string to your bow. You might be wondering if you need such a device, I’d say go for it for certain.

We love Kawa brand and how easy this was to set up, install, and use.It does need to be plugged in all night or it will lose its charge, however, the picture quality and overall ease to use the product is worth it!
