Mostly spectacular
I was so excited about getting this that I paid a ridiculous amount of money to have it shipped faster. In almost all ways it met or exceeded my expectations and I echo the positive comments and observations others have made. The problem is that I can’t use it. The cord came so chewed up that I noticed it thanks to the numerous sparks coming from it. This is made worse by the fact that it’s the one connected to the motor so isn’t so irreplaceable as say, the power cord would be. I’m very sad and whether or not this is covered by the warranty, have to look into returning it. 🙁

I recently purchased and assembled the DC400. It is my second sit-stand desk. I must say, it was a breeze to assemble – I thought it would be tricky due to the electronics, but it wasn’t. It took me just under 20 minutes – the instructions were clear and the necessary tools were included. I love the one-touch control. It is easy and obvious to raise and lower (I stand much of the day, but I do like to sit for certain activities). The platform is strong and stable and is large enough for my laptop and keyboard and mouse, in addition to some papers. It was easy to attach my monitor to the tower, and it’s now at the perfect height. The desk platform is the perfect size for my cubicle. In addition to being a functional product, it is nice aesthetically – sleek and professional looking.I highly recommend the DC400. Five stars!

Well made and easy to assemble. My only gripe is I wish the desktop extends out more. I’m a bit closer to the monitor than I would prefer. I get that it might lead to stability issues though.

Great product! Easy to install and very well made. The electronic height control is a very helpful feature. I had a sit/stand desk before, but it required manual lifting and adjusting. This is so much easier and better! My monitor was easy to mount and now is easy to move to the perfect height with the touch of a button whether I sit or stand. The desk is sturdy and has ample room for my laptop computer and peripherals. Really good price for the quality and features. I highly recommend this product.

My employer let me select a standing desk for my home office. After some research, I decided I wanted a power model that didn’t attach physically to my desk. This seemed to fit the bill. The other reviews are spot-on. It was easy to assemble, it is weighty, and the ergonomics are excellent. It does have a slight wobble while typing in the standing position, but there’s probably no such thing as a one-arm standing desk that doesn’t wobble. If you get a scissor-lift-type standing desk, it may be more stable if that’s what you’re looking for. In any case, the slight wobble doesn’t bother me.The work area is quite large and fits my full-sized keyboard and mouse, along with my wireless phone charger and other sundry desk items. The stand was very well-packaged and arrived damage-free.

I was recommended the Victor standing desk (DC400) and it’s great. It was affordable and allowed me to keep my current desk. This sit-stand desk converter fits perfectly on my desk surface. All I have to do to go from sitting to standing is press the up button once, then a second time when the desk surface gets to the height I want. My monitor mounts easily and the adjustability is a plus. The metal tower is sturdy and movement when typing is minimal to none. Overall, this is a solid standing desk alternative for those who want to stand, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on the full desk electric versions.
