This is a great baby monitor. The baby unit (the monitor) has full motion video and audio that you can see and hear on the parent unit (the remote). The best features are:- Easy setup. Well, there really isn’t any setup at all. You are asked to pick a language on the remote but you just plug in the monitor and the remote and they connected to each other already. Immediately started seeing the image and hearing audio on the remote. So you don’t have to pair or connect to WiFi or any of that nonsense. Fantastic.- Easy to use. Don’t need to read instructions on use, it’s an intuitive control panel of panning up down, left right, and an audio button to speak back to the camera. Zoom in, zoom out. It’s a nice feature to have bi-directional audio but you press a button to speak so your remote isn’t broadcasting audio continuously back to the baby monitor.- Versatile. This comes with two AC chargers that work for both the monitor and remote (and the cord is several feet long so no trouble making this work just about anywhere). The remote actually charges so it doesn’t need to stay plugged in (apparently lasts about 15 hours on a charge). The remote is compact so you can easily carry it. It also has a built-in stand on the back that you retract and snap back so you can place it on a table or desk. (The monitor you keep plugged in all the time.) The monitor also comes with a mounting hardware if you want to hang your monitor on the wall.- Cool features. Temperature monitor, full motion color video on 4″ screen. Chargeable remote (no need to install or maintain batteries on the remote). Strong signal that allows this to work across your home. Night vision on camera. It has a very sensitive microphone and you can adjust this and the volume via the onscreen menu on the remote. (The menu lets you add additional cameras, play a lullaby, change setting, etc.) There are 9 different tunes for the lulliby setting, including songs and birds, etc. Not sure this will get used a lot but a cool feature if that’s what your kiddo needs.Small downsides are that I think the video quality could be slightly better. Would be amazing if the monitor was chargeable so you could move it temporarily to another location without having to plug it in. Still, this is a fantastic monitor and would highly recommend.

This baby monitor works well as a backup to our main Wi-Fi-based monitor. The picture quality on the 4-inch screen is clear, and the pan, tilt, and zoom functions are helpful for getting a good view of the baby’s room. The fact that it doesn’t rely on Wi-Fi is a big plus for reliability. The battery life is pretty impressive in audio-only mode, which is how we primarily use it. The range is also good, allowing us to move around the house without losing connection. The night vision works well, too, providing a clear image even in complete darkness. The two-way talk feature is a nice bonus, although we don’t use it that often. The temperature sensor and lullabies are also helpful features. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable baby monitor, especially as a backup or for situations where Wi-Fi isn’t available. It’s a good value for the price.

Well it connects pretty quickly and easily with the camera. It’s got a nice look to it looks as that faux wood look on it which is okay I guess. It is black and white there’s no color to it I kind of thought because of the price point that it would be in color but it’s not the clarity of the screen is good again it’s black and white so you’re not seeing a whole lot of detail you can pan up pan down off to the sides and it’s very quiet as it does that it’s really no noise to it.It seems to be pretty durable I mean I haven’t dropped it yet but it’s plastic so I hope I don’t drop it just in case. Really not much else to say you have controls you can change the the temperature of the screen the you have a timer to set for to go off and on you have a lot of choices for music like lullabies and ocean sounds things like that to help the baby go to sleep or anyone really. There’s a two-way audio on it so you can hear what’s happening and they can hear you as well so if you are monitoring your baby you could soothe the baby I’m talking to the monitor without being in the room and you do get a good distance on it it says a thousand feet while I wasn’t that far away from the camera I don’t know if I would ever be that far away from the camera with my baby thousand feet is quite a long distance but the options there in case you are that far away from your baby or grandbaby or maybe you just using it to watch your cats either way it works all right I think it’s a little pricey for what it is especially with no color screen you do get a lot of music choices with it and that the panning does work well I mean it’s okay I’d recommend it but it is a little pricey for what you’re getting. I just wanted to update I said it was black and white, that was wrong! it’s actually a nice clear picture I must have been doing something wrong but I when I went back and we looked at it the picture was clear and yes there was color and actually looks really nice and I did get a little further distance away probably about 200 ft and it picked up just fine and that’s where the wall in between a couple of them actually. Definitely would recommend this one

  4. Perfect!

I actually love this camera and the camera punctuality is amazing. I love that you can communicate through the camera. I actually am not using the camera for a baby, but I am using it for my downstairs living room and I have the screen in my room. It is easy to set up. Literally, you’re just plugging it in. There is a settings that you can go to to adjust it the way you want you are able to move the camera around from the screen which I thought was pretty cool. The view and angle is amazing if you need to adjust it, you can from the screen holder.

We got this camera/monitor to replace a little bit fancier of one that we were gifted before our baby was born. We had that one for about 1.5 years before the battery on the monitor just wouldn’t hold a charge any longer.Honestly, the set-up, camera quality and monitor match the more expensive set up we had previously. Signal is great so far, set up was easy. I’m more interested to see how long the monitor lasts. So far, so good though. For the price, at time of this review, it looks like this one sells for around $50/$60 after applying any coupons. You really can’t beat that.I took a star off because the cords for camera/monitor need to be just slightly longer, it came with no stand mount adapter (this one uses a standard one, so it should come with any third party stands ordered separately) and it doesn’t have a clock or time display on the monitor which is nice when you wake up staring at the monitor.Other than that, it seems like a decent value!
