Perfect size for a small family meal! So glad I got this so I didn’t have to always use the really large one I have. And it’s so much easier to handle with the clean-up. Heated very well and I like that it doesn’t have all of the digital settings. Works for me!

I ordered this item because a taller round slow cooker is more convenient than the usual low oval models. Presumably the original slow cooker was based on a low oval pot which is ideal to fit in an oven and the manufacturers have stayed with convention.I did not notice that it was a 120 V model so changed the plug from north American to UK and used it. The power cord was inconveniently short and was not round as is best for easy cleaning. On setting to warm, there was no indicator to show that it was working. It boiled quickly on the lowest setting so I examined the rating plate and found it was a 120 V model. While packing for return I noticed the pot was not well glazed. There was a small sharp protrusion on the inside and several small round depressions on the base.

It looks like it is small, but it is really the perfect size for a few people. I have not used it yet, but hey it’s a crock pot – there’s not much to using one of these.Below are a few of the things I like about it:1. No complicated digital menu to remember.2. It has a warm feature.3. The knob on the lid is low profile.4. My stainless steel adjustable size steamer insert fits inside perfectly. I plan on using this with frozen corn on the cob stood upright and slow steamed.5. It’s just the right size for soaking beans overnight and then cooking the next day.6. Looks like just the right size for making those Knorr Noodle/Rice mixes and adding in a few extras.7. It doesn’t take up a lot of room on my counter, so I’m leaving it sitting out for lots of different uses.8. It’s low wattage – saves on electric!9. Would work good in my camper.10. The black stainless steel matches my kitchen appliances – black stainless steel.11. It is NOT oval. I like the retro round style of the crock pots for soups and chili, etc.12. It is a thick crock, not just a metal non-stick insert.13. I don’t have to buy a lot of produce or ingredients to fill it up.

This is a great size for our family of three. Very easy to use, and it work well. Seem pretty sturdy, too. It doesn’t take up a ton of space either. The price is fair.

Performs well. It’s a little slow to come up to temperature. It also cooks very hot on high. Soups end up at a rolling boil. However, the low setting has been great and I’m glad to have this in my kitchen. Good value.
