After 3 months food started to stick. Contacted customer service and they told us to try cleaning it with a certain technique. There are no scratches or marks anywhere on the pan. But food is sticking in one area. After conversing with them again and sending them pictures they’ve ignored all future inquiries. I’m going to assume that our pan is somehow defective. It might be one in a million but we are very disappointed in the service that we received.

This is a review of “GreenPan Swift Cookware 10″ Frying Pan”.This is an oven-safe non-stick frying pan by GreenPan. The pan works well (appears to heat evenly) for cooking things on the stove top (we have a regular electric stove) – and should work well for you unless you have an induction cooktop. We haven’t had any trouble with the ceramic coating over the month we’ve had the pan, though we’re pretty careful to not use metal utensils for these non-stick pans. Cleaning in the sink has been super-easy so far. The pan is advertised in the listing as being dishwasher safe, but there’s a note in the material that comes with the pan that they recommend not washing this pan in the dishwasher. So it’s – sorta – dishwasher safe? The pan has a metal handle (helps make it oven-safe) – and the handle does not get overly hot in normal cooking. We’re satisfied with the pan so far.

I compared this favorably with my usual, the All-Clad. While many people prefer not to spend big on nonstick pans (they only last so long before needing to be binned), that often results in a low-quality handle. Flimsy and heat are not a good match. Not the case here. The GreenPan is well made and similar to the All-Clad. Should be good for a year or so of cooking. I tend to use nonstick for almost everything, unless browning is an issue. So easy to clean. 10 inches is a good size for one or two people, would hold about six eggs. Give this one a try.

Overall, so far, this pan is functioning well. Nothing sticking yet and with ceramic pans, I generally don’t expect to get more than a year’s wear out of them. The 4 star review is based on an evaluation at the $35 price point I ordered it, which is a price point in line with the quality. I wouldn’t purchase this at the $50 price point it’s currently listed at.The only thing that seems truly odd to me is the packaging. I’ve never seen terms of arbitration on a cookware label before that I can recall. This does give me pause because I recall this company being sued on allegations of misrepresenting their non-toxic coating. I suppose I understand why a company who has been through a class action lawsuit might include this, but then also, as a consumer, this label doesn’t help build my trust that the product is what it says it is.——-Update – after seven months it’s still holding strong. No issues yet with food sticking. The surface cleans up well and has no marring.

Pros:- Healthy ceramic nonstick coating is PFAS-free.- Heavy-gauge aluminum ensures even heat distribution.- Gold-tone stainless steel handle adds a stylish touch.- Dishwasher and oven safe for easy cleaning and versatility.Cons:- Nonstick coating will wear off over time.- Heavier compared to other frying pans.- Expensive compared to cheaper nonstick options.
